My dd & I took a one night trip to Disneyland for Star Wars nite on Tuesday. We flew into SNA and took a shuttle to the Disneyland hotel. We stayed in a standard club level room, which was wonderful. I got a text that our room was ready around 1pm. When we arrived I stopped to get room keys and the CM took us up to our room for a tour. We were on the 10th floor in a corner room. The view was fantastic, much better than I expected from a standard-view room. We overlooked the pool from one window, and from the other we could see Galaxy's edge. After showing us the room the CM took us up to the E-ticket Lounge. We had a nice dinner there before getting ready to go to Star Wars nite.
The construction wasn't a big deal at all. We didn't hear anything and even thought it is so close, it didn't seem like it somehow. I was going to cancel DLH for our June trip but now that I've seen it in person I'll keep that reservation.
Star Wars nite was so much fun! There was Star Wars music playing throughout the park starting at 9:00. Dd made a light saber and then we went to Main Street for the fireworks, which were so cool! Then we went to Fantasyland and waited only 8 minutes to ride Peter Pan. We walked on Snow White and then headed to Galaxy's edge for blue and green milk and the Light Saber meet up. We rode Astro Orbiter 3 times, all with no wait. Splash had a longer line so we didn't bother. Dd got a Galactic Princess Sundae. We saw the March of the first order. There was a DJ on Main street & people were dancing. We stayed until around midnight. We already can't wait for next year
The next day we had breakfast at the club then spent the morning relaxing and swimming at DLH and went into the park. We had lunch at Alien Pizza Planet, then had Dole Whips and later stopped at Jolly Holiday for treats. Mobile ordering was SO easy and helpful. It's like a fastpass for food. I ordered lunch while we were riding the monorail from DLH and it was ready by the time we got to Tomorrowland. We rode Small World and she did Matterhorn, then it was time to catch our shuttle to SNA for the afternoon flight home. We're going back in June with the whole family but we had a wonderful little mini trip this week!
