My situation:

Every summer we drive to St. Pete Beach (a 24h drive) for 2 weeks at the beach. Before driving back home we plan a stop at Orlando to visit some friends that live there and to go to WDW for a day. This year we're planning a day at MK in early August and I was planning on buying 2 adult 1-day ticket (95$x2), 1 child 1-day ticket (89$x1 for my oldest who is 5) and none for my youngest who will be 2 yo. But then I was reading the Ticket FAQ thread and I saw you can still buy NO EXPIRATION tickets. Where do I find those and how much do they cost? I cannot see the option on Disney website.

When I look at the price per day, it looks like it would be worth it for me to buy a 5-day ticket as long as I can have the NO EXPIRATION option. I'm also considering the PH and WP option if I buy the 5-day tickets NO EXP. That way I would have all my WDW tickets bought for the next few years and they would be almost half price per day compared to a 1-day ticket.

What do you think?

We like the multi day no expiration option you get a discount and lock in current prices. Your 2 yo is still free so don't buy a tix for her/him this year!

Yes you can still buy the no expiration tickets, but you can only buy them on site, not on line. And your 2 yo won't need a ticket this year, under 3 is free!

Oops! I made a typo. I need to buy a child ticket for my oldest (5 yo) but not for my youngest.

Bummer if I cannot buy my ticket online since I wanted to make FP+ reservation in June for Aug stay (we will be on-site at AoA).

I believe you could buy the 5 day tickets online (so you can make fp+), then upgrade to no-expire when you arrive at the parks. You have 14 days from the first use to upgrade any ticket.

You can purchase the no expiration ticket at Undercover Tourist and have the tickets in hand prior to your first visit using them. The 5-day WPF&M option is $491.95 ($33 off of gate price), adding the PH option makes it $522.95 ($28 in savings) per adult. I personally love these tickets and used them quite a bit before we became AP holders. I still have tickets with fun visits left. :thumbsup2

A lot can change in five years---and you're tying up the money for quite a long time. I'd just buy as I go.

We get so used to doing most things online these days that we forget there are still people who can assist us over the phone. The no expire option can also be added through Disney by calling them and adding it to your package.

Can you really make FP+? I thought you had to have a resort reservation for that.

We have a 3 nights reservation at AoA but to make FP+ 60-days prior my visit I need to link a ticket.
