1 day ticket cost?

Do they really charge you $94 for a 1-day ticket with park hopper option if you get it at the gate? My mother may tag along on our trip and go to the parks for 1 day. This price seems, well, ridiculas! Anyone seen the prices at the gate lately? Thanks!

A one day, one park ticket is $59.75 plus $3.88 tax for a total of $63.63. Converting any ticket, whether one day or ten days, to a hopper is $35.00 plus $2.28 tax or $37.28. This brings the total for a one-day hopper to $100.91.

That $94 price tag is actually a pre-tax price! The out-of-pocket, at-the-gate cost of an adult 1-day MYW Hopper is $100.91 !!!!!

The big question is this: is it really necessary to purchase the hopping option? That alone costs $35, regardless of the length of the ticket. If you plan your days so that you don't change parks when your mother is with you, you do not need to spend that money. In that case, a 1-day adult MYW Base Ticket would cost you $63.63 (tax included).

OK, thanks! I wasn't thinking that the hopper add-on was a flat price, hmmm. We'll work around that then and do one park that day. Thanks again.
