1 day ticket...adding park hoppers

I read through the ticket sticky but still am not totally sure...
My friend is going to Epcot tomorrow with one day tickets. If they decide in the middle of the day (after they have already scanned their tickets at Epcot) can they still add park hoppers?

Yes. At the Guest Relations inside Epcot (due east of Spaceship Earth) or any ticket booth or Guest Relations outside any park.

And, THIS is another example of why guests are able to upgrade an "all-used-up" ticket during the same day as that ticket's last (or only) asset is used.
