Hi,
New here!
Leaving on a 6-day cruise next Sunday, and it includes one stop at Port Canaveral. We're driving to WDW, 2 adults and our 18-month old son. How can we make the best of the approximately 8 hours we have there? Leaning towards the Magic Kingdom, but will listen to all suggestions. Please list specific attractions that our child can go on.

Thanks,
Barb

Barb--

I would highly recommend that you subscribe to TourguideMike. He has a great touring plan for the MK with young children and the best advice for maximizing time and relaxation while avoiding crowds. I think you'll be able to get a lot done in one day taking his advice. And he does have a money back guarantee, so if you don't find it useful, you're not out anything.

First of all have you been to WDW before? If not then MK is the premiere park for Disney. Having said that I think AK is ideal for taking an 18mo old. There are a lot of attractions, not rides, that all three of you can enjoy together. Animals, shows, characters and a couple of rides you can all take. At your age though MK will appeal more to you and your DH. Nic will enjoy anywhere you take him. Fantasyland has quite a few rides all three of you can take and don't miss Toontown! If you have 8hrs just go and enjoy the adventure. I like surprises and if its your first visit don't plan, just go and explore. Surprises await around every corner. And this is advise from a fellow named "Nick" also. How can you go wrong?

Have Fun

Magic Kingdom would be great for 1 day, but go early if you can. :sunny:

I would have to say MK is the best one to go to with an 18 month old child. That is where he will be able to experience more. The other parks have more rides that have height requirements so MK it is. But by all means, get there as early as possible so you can have as much fun as possible.

Stick with your choice. I think the MK would be the best bet. You can take the baby to toontown to see the characters in the big tent and vist mickey, minnie and donalds house. Also you might be able to catch a parade and you dont want to miss seeing the castle!! princess: Your also going at a time that is crowded so prepare to wait on some lines. Try and check out the map and write down a list of "must sees" and you should be fine with the time.
Good Luck and I hope you enjoy your trip.

where are u going on the cruise??
