1 day Miami/Everglades virgin Excursion

Anyone done this?

My father-in-law is interested in this and we are still not sure.

Can someone tell me what goes on? How long it takes to get to Miami?

Not done this trip, but many years ago we did it the opposite way round when we stayed in Miami and went to Orlando for a couple of days. It was actually our first time in Florida and we didn't have a car.
I would reckon on a coach, depending on the number of stops etc, around 5 hours or so.

Last time we went to Miami we drove from Orlando and it took us about 3 and half hours, but obviously a coach trip would take longer, would probably be at least an hour quicker if you had your own car.

Bit of info here about it, looks like its run by Gatortour.com tour, I know someone who used them for a trip to Miami only(without everglades) and said the coach was not airconned well enough, maybe they got a bad coach. Also too much travelling in 1 day.
