I have just 1 PH left with one remaining day on it. I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. For our upcoming trip, I thought about getting everyone 6-day hoppers and myself a 5-day hopper and use the old pass for my 6th day. But it's only a few dollars more to buy a 6-day hopper than a 5-day hopper with the new MYW tickets so I feel like my old pass is now worth only $3???? I'm not getting the most value from it this way, it would seem. Any suggestions? I don't forsee going all by myself for just one day in the future .... Has anybody sold park hopper tickets on ebay with any success? Other ideas???

I have 3 tickets each with one day left on them (also park hoppers). I am in the same boat you are. I have decided to put them on e-bay and sell them, as someone purchasing just a 1day PH would cost them almost $100 at the gate. I know a lot of people on the boards here will come on and advise everyone never to buy on e-bay but I know I am legitimate and am not scamming anyone. I also see what they are selling for on e-bay so why not sell them on there and use the money to partially pay for a new ticket since extra days are only like $3 more. I say go for it.

Hang on to the old PH and save it for a future trip when prices have risen. And they will rise. They never expire, so it's good forever!

FYI, Technically, PHs are non-transferable.

I am in the exact same situation as Lynn, 3 PH, each with one day. I'm going to use the cash value of at least one of them at guest services to offset the cost of a new MYW, IF I don't have to get a non-expiring pass. Otherwise, maybe I'll Ebay them also. Don't think it's legal, though, so I'm not sure...

We also had a 1day left on an old hopper...but you are right...anything above 4 days it's only a few bucks different when you add more days... We figured if we just had to hop we would use the old ticket for that one day but we ended up never hopping (or wanting to) so we still have the 1day old ticket. I guess maybe one day we'll take just a weekend trip to WDW on and then we'll only be there a couple days and use it then? I dunno... It doesn't expire

I had the same problem. I had 3 tickets with one day left on each. We are going down for a week in August. I decided to buy the 10 day park hopper plus w/ no expiration. After the August trip I will probably have about 3-4 park days and 3-4 plus visits left. I will use these days along with the 1 day on the old park hoppers for a future trip. So now I have two trips worth of tickets.

If you have decided that a 10 day non-expiring pass is best for your present and future vacation plans, feel free to use any leftover ticket at any time.

Depending on your schedule and what you have left over you may have one family member use up all the leftover (pre-2005) park hoppers and everybody else gets new tickets for the full vacation. This strategy does not work if you wnat to go to Disney QUest.

No, an old hopper with one day left on it is NOT worth only $3!

What you have is a one-day hopper. A one-day MYW hopper is around $90, so I'd say your old pass is worth about $90.

Then again, its trade-in value toward purchase of any new pass will be around $40, so its value is $40.

I would be more than willing to give you $3 for that pass, if you really want to get rid of it and save yourself all this horrible decision-making...
