Hi Everyone! While in CA for a conference we want to spend a day at Disneyland. 2 adults and a 3 year old girl. We have been to WDW and so would like to focus on the attractions that are unique to Disneyland. We also really want to meet Elsa and Anna.

Is there a meet and greet for the Frozen girls?

What is the best counter service?

Are there fireworks at night?

Would it be impossible to see some of DCA and Magic kingdom in just one day?

Thanks so much!!!!

Elsa and Anna are in the Animation Academy building in DCA.

You can get park hoppers so yes you can see the highlights of both parks in one day. Can't cover both parks, but you can hit the highlights. Entrances are right across from each other though so very easy to hop. It's just a lot of ground to cover in one day.

When is your trip? Fireworks won't be back until 4/13.

Best CS is subjective. Many love the fried chicken at Plaza Inn. Flo's over in Carsland is very fun since you can sit and watch the cars. Many love the variety in the French Market.

Thank-you! Our trip is April 24 so we are in luck for fireworks. Cars land might be fun for DD.

I love how you have pictures of your DD with White Rabbit from when she was little! So darling!

My fave counter service are: DCA boardwalk pizza & pasta; award wieners veggie sandwich.
DL Bengal bbq & French market.

But look at the menus. I prefer allears.com to look at menus.

My family's favorite CS locations are the Plaza Inn (Fried Chicken), French Market (French Dip), Jolly Holiday (any of the pastries) and Red Rose Tavern (Poutine fries) in DL. Over in DCA, we've had some luck with Award Weiner and Paradise Garden Grill.

DLR is debuting a new fireworks show on April 13. They haven't said whether it'll run nightly after the debut (or just one weekends), but I'm tentatively guessing nightly (based on the Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge offerings). I would guess there will be pretty big crowds for the fireworks show (because its new).

I think it's possible to see a lot of the highlight of both DL and DCA in one day, but you will probably have to pick and choose to some degree because you're going on a Wednesday in the off-season, which might mean shorter operating hours.

...We also really want to meet Elsa and Anna.
As others have posted, there is a dedicated Frozen meet and greet inside the Animation Academy.
First room is usually Olaf and Christof, second room is Anna and Elsa.

While a major commitment of time for a single day visit, you might also consider seeing Frozen Live at the Hyperion. The story from the movie is compressed into an hour long Broadway style musical.

You can definitely meet Elsa and Anna at the Animation Academy in Disney's California Adventure Park's and Hollywood Land area. When I was there I was told to get a Fast Pass ticket from the machine just outside the buildings front door to come back during an allotted time for your meet and greet. I am not sure if you can just walk in and do the meet and greet without a ticket but at the time I was told we needed one.

They haven't used FP for that meet and greet for quite some time now.
