$1 Billion for California Adventure

The Disney Board of Directors has approved the expenditure of over $1,000,000,000 to upgrade California Adventure. The work will take five years and add 12 acres to the park. The entrance will be remodeled and a "Main Street" like Los Angeles in the 1920s will be added!

This certainly will mean that WDW won't be getting major new attractions during that time period nor will another park be built in North America!

Well a new entrance should fix everything

anyway, I'm not sure how it will curb other spending. They are building a new resort in Hawaii. I'm sure they will build something at WDW. But they were never going to do another american park anyway
