There are 4 of us, dh and myself and our sons (5 and 7). Would it be worth the price to get a 2 bdrm at either ssr or okw or is a 1bdrm plenty of room? Is the transportation better at BWV since you have the boat and you can walk to Epcot? Anything else I should be taking into consideration?

A one bedroom at OKW would be fine - lots of room. The kids could sleep in the living room on the queen sleeper. You could even make up a bed on the love seat for the smaller one, but you'd need your own sheets, blankets.

One bedroom SSR and BWV would be smaller than the one bedroom at OKW. But the kids would still need to sleep in the living room on the sleeper sofa.

BWV you can walk or boat to Epcot and Disney Studios, but the buses from SSR and OKW are still pretty good.

Two adults and two kids in a one-bedroom are fine, so long as the kids don't mind sharing the sofa bed. There is no love seat (just the sofa bed) in a one-bedroom at SSR or BWV (that must be an OKW feature?). We stayed at SSR last month and are at BWV now. BWV is a far more convenient location.

with kids 5 & 7 your main park is going to be the MK.

so I would see if VWL has availability.

1 or 2 bedroom - depends upon you. and how well your family gets along.

my brother's family - although only 4 - needs a 2-bedroom to prevent fights.

if that is your problem then definitely go with OKW 2-bedroom. Plenty of room here.
