O.K.
I'll try to explain the problem in less than 100 words.

Both my children (5 & 6) are hoping for thier first Splash Mountain ride this year. The problem is I can't sit with both, it is only a two seater. For thier first time I don't want them to sit alone or with a stranger.
I will have a friend with me the 1st week but she has an infant and a son who does not want to ride. My DH will be there the second week, but he is really afraid of high places. He would probably make the kids nervous on the ride.

Waiting on line twice, once with each child is I guess my only option, while friend or DH does something with the other one.
*Or could I get fast passes for me & the kids and the other adult - I ride w/ my pass and a child then I ride w/ the Other adult's pass and the other child?
I realize w/ the infant we could do a sort of baby swap type thing, but I hate to see the boy (6) who doesn't want to ride have to hang out there through two rides.

Anyone (who took the time to read all this) ever have this problem - single parents, or those on trips alone with thier kids?
Are there any other rides you might forsee this problem? I think on BTMRR we can fit 3 and they don't want to do Space Mountian.

Sorry so long, thanks for sticking with me to the end.....

The 1st year My 2 daughters and I rode 3 to a seat and it was not a tight squeeze, with you and 2 kids you will fit comfortably on both of these rides !:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Wow!
That would be great news!
I wasn't sure that they would allow 3 in a Splash Mountian seat. How recent was that....
This would sure solve my problem.
And I sure will buy THAT picture!:D

I have also ridden SM with my two kids...all in one seat. We've done it on several occasions. I don't think you'll have a problem.

Have fun!

since you have a friend, you can all get a fastpass...use 1 with one child, and use your friend's with the other child..or get a "baby swap" pass.

Nothing better than getting the answer you want to hear!:D
Thanks guys.

I have always rode with both my kids on Splash. They are now 8 and 11 and we fit just fine.

I've ridden the ride with two teenages and myself in one seat. Close, but we did it. Have fun

Going August 7th!

DDs are 7 and 6 and rode in one seat w/DH. This was while I was riding the train back to Main Street b/c I lost the video camera!!!!!!! They fit fine.

We're a family of 5 and we always try to ride everything without splitting up. Now that our kids are older (12,10,7), the three of them ride in one seat and my DH and I ride in the next. We used to do two kids and me, and DH and the other. You'll have no problem.

I personally like to put a child in the middle and me on one side. The seats are formed for two people and the ridge, though it does allow for someone to sit there, is a bit uncomfortable for me. My kids never seem to notice - I guess it's just my old age coming out LOL!
