1 ADR, DDP and DDE

Can someone please tell me how this will work?

Our Disney trip next summer will include some friends for the 1st week of our two week trip. They will be on DDP and we are leaning towards DDE instead. We will have several TS ADR's together and I am wondering how the bill will work.

I believe I have read on this thread that the CM is able to split the bill and each party pay their share. Our party will be big enough (10) so that the automatic tip is included.

My question is..... can I use DDE for my portion of the bill, while our friends use DDP for their portion?

Our inlaws each year meet us at a restaurant or 2 or 3, we are on the DDP and they either do OOP or DEE, just tell server you need separate checks at the beginning because of this, never had a problem.
