$1.99 Gasoline Near Disney

The brand new HESS station at the far south end of International Drive (at SR536 adjacent the SR536 ramp to/from TOLL 417) has regular gasoline at $1.99 /gallon. This is currently the lowest price in the Orlando metro. The 7-Eleven at the corner of SR535 & SR536 is priced at $2.03/gallon. Though technically not in Lake Buena Vista, that area of Orange County is all tourist-oriented.

Ironically, the gas stations further north on SR535 near I-4 are the highest priced gas stations in the Orlando metro with the Chevron (I-4 & SR535) the highest at $2.65 per gallon. Drive 2 miles south from I-4 and save a bundle!

Nice! We have been around $1.99 here in the Minneapolis area and then spiked up to $2.09 or so... I just saw we are back down to $1.99.

For some reason, it's always been this way... The Chevron, Shell, and Citgo stations at the corner of 535/535 (near Downtown Disney, Palm Parkway and Crossroads) have always been 50+ cents higher than anywhere else.


That new Hess station though is really being very competitive. I'm hoping it's permanent, rather than just a "Hey, we're new and want you to become loyal to us as we gratually raise our prices"
