So sorry to have missed meeting new folks on the cruise meet, and keeping up with everyone's good news (congrats NYAna and akamaleficent!) We very nearly had to postpone our vacation due to dh's work schedule, but now it seems we can go ahead as planned (YAY!) so now I can finally get really excited![]()
Bullseyebaby - We are taking the Disney Transfer as well. We fly in on Friday night and needed to stay at the airport b/c of the little ones. I actually got a much better rate through Disney for the Hyatt (~$180). Since we are only 3 (and I don't have to pay for DD2) the Disney Transfer made sense. I was told that we can take the first shuttle at 9:30 to the Port. I went for the easiest least stressful route since my DH won't be joining us.
They arrived!! It is getting so close I can hardly stand it. The best thing is that while DH and I have done this before, our niece, who is 24, has never been on a cruise in her life. It is so cool to see how excited she is - yippee!!

I'm so excited I'm going to cry. Is there anyone here who is not doing a Disney-sponsored excursion? I read on another thread that people have rented jeeps on the islands to cruise around to secluded beaches and such. Sounds awesome, but I don't know if it's safe. Any suggestions?
