1.5 days in Epcot - how to divide it up?

We are going to WDW for a week in May, the first trip for our DS4. I am planning for us to go to Epcot one afternoon and then again the next full day (probably with a pool break in the middle of that day). How do you think we should plan to spend those 1.5 days?

I had originally been thinking we would do FW in the afternoon and then have the next day to do WS. But we will want to do Soarin' and possibly Test Track and I'm afraid the FastPasses might have run out for those rides by the afternoon. Plus maybe we should break up WS and do some of it the first afternoon and the rest the next day with FW. So confusing! :confused3

Any suggestions?

Okay.. here is my thoughts on that, not everyone (esp Tour Guide Mike) will agree.

Half Day:
Do this on an EE morning, and arrive for EE opening.
Send DH for Test Track FP while you and DS go to Soarin.
Meet up with DH (tell him to hoof it) and ride Soarin
Do Spaceship Earth (if you and DH want to do Mission Space this is a good time to send one of you to do it)
Do Turtle Talk with Crush (park should be open for regular hrs now so do the 1st one of the day it gets BUSY)
Ride Test Track
Think about what you want for lunch, I recommend Rose & Crown Fish & Chips.
Explore Canada
Explore UK
Eat Lunch
DONE!

Full day:
Enter at park opening, do whatever it is you would like to do again in FW as World Showcase opens a little later.
Enter world showcase when it opens
Hit Mexico 1st and work your way clockwise, remember to do Kid Cot and passports. And look in each country for characters.
At Italy, take the boat and exit the park
Return around 3pm, take boat back to Italy and pick up where you left off
Just take your time & enjoy. After France, exit at the international Gateway and take in Boardwalk, BeachClub (I recommend dinner at Beaches & Cream)

I took DD when she was almost 3 and every year since (she's 5) and this plan works for us. She isnt a HUGE fan of the World Showcase so you have to find the fun things to point out and do the kid cots to make it fun.

GOOD LUCK
