By the time we go to Disney, we will have about $1,300 of gift cards. We are staying off site and have already purchased tickets. There's 2 adults 2 kids.

Here's what I have planned so far:
$105 Parking
$200 Souvenirs
$250 CS meals and snacks
$150 Askerhaus Breakfast
$100 Crystal Palace Breakfast
$805 Total

This gives me about $500 left over. I really want to use all of the money on this trip since I don't know when we might return. How would you spend it?

$250 doesn't seem like a whole lot for CS Meals & Snacks for 4 people. But, it depends on how long you are going for also.

Like PP said - I would add in some TS Meals. Or can you buy Photopass with this?

How about booking a dinner show like Hoop Dee Doo Review?
(I think I spelled that wrong! :)

Or you could buy tickets to one of the water parks.

How long are you staying and how old are the kids. That factors into costs.
I think $200 for souvenirs is low.
We are a 2a/2c family and have done both Akershus and CP. Our final total with tip at Akershus last September was $140. CP final total was $90.

Remember if you don't spend all the money then save it and use it at disneystore online for christmas or birthday gifts

How about a show like Cirque de Solei or maybe a tour at the parks. Segway tour, behind the seeds, behind the magic. As an earlier poster said, the Hoop De Do Review is excellent as well.

I forgot about Photopass!!

The kids are 6 & 5. We will be there for a week. I hope to eat most other meals at our condo.

Thanks for the suggestions so far!

You forgot an important one.

$100 Disneyworld1977

See if you can pre-order the Disney Photopass (or Photopass Plus) from Disney's website and use your gift cards to pay for them. Then hold onto those gift cards (just leave them at home in an envelope marked that you used them for that purpose).

You will save more by pre-ordering than by purchasing directly at the parks.

I would do the Pirate's League.
Also, if you are staying a whole week, I would do a couple more TS meals, not necessarily character meals.

I think you will end of wanting more to use on food in the park whether CS or TS. There will be times you have planned to return to the condo and you just want to stay in the park or realize you are going to be way to tired to fix something when you get back. I did not realize you could use them for parking. Cool.
