I do get seasick on small boats and indoors where there are no windows.

I've had the same problem at times on smaller boats, and I'm not meaning to say that one can't get sick on a larger ship, but I've never really felt bad at all. Yes, at times you can feel the roll of the ship but I've never taken anything while cruising. That said, there's nothing wrong with getting the patch. Just be aware that it can cause drowsiness. I'm sure you'll see many folks with it.

I got some stuff for us just incase! I am worried about Leah since she even gets car sick, but when we went to NY, I had her wear one of the bracelets that puts pressure on your wrists and she never got sick once! I hope we have as good of luck on the ship.
It will be a crazy week here with packing and getting DD-17 schedule all figured out for Grandma. Also found out that my sis's daycare closed up so as soon as I get back, I will be having her kids at my house.
I am trying to get my 3-4 times in at the gym before we leave as I know we will be eating lots. I'll have to use my skip weigh-in pass at Weight watchers for sure when we get back! LOL Oh well it may be awhile before we can save up for another "disney" cruise with the 2007 prices that I have seen.
Everyone have fun packing. Oh, I did work on some door signs last night. I just downloaded some disney clip art and printed them on picture paper and then bought some magnetic tape at Walmart (around $3). They turned out pretty cute.

Kelli, are you talking about the seasick patch for EE or for the cruise??! Should I be worried about getting seasick. Maybe I need to visit the doctor afterall.... I do get seasick on small boats and indoors where there are no windows.

I've always taken the patches on cruises, but I've found they work wonderful for Mission:Space and The Hulk...I'm assuming also for EE....THE main reason I'll have them this trip is that we are parasailing at CC and the small boat will do me in if I don't have it! (9am is TOO early to be sick!!!)

I'd talk with the Doc...if you have eye problems, (glaucoma) that's the one thing I know that precludes an Rx, but nothing else that I know of! You could also try the wrist strap, ginger tablets, or any of the less potent motion sick stuff if necessary.

As a worst case scenario (anyone play that game?), I know of a gal that was sick THE MINUTE she stepped on the boat...before they even sailed......green for 2-3 days.....

Anyone else panicking now?!?!? I went through my shorts (short pants!!) last night to see what fits now, and what might fit after the cruise.... Only one more shopping stop to make and I can concentrate on the actual packing and leaving!

I looked at the forecast for Orlando for the end of the week and it looks pretty nice, upper 70's -low 80's. AAAHHHHHHHH

Thanks for all your seasick advice! After I read what you all said, I immediately called the doctor--haven't heard back yet. The woman on the phone said that the patch is can probably be called in to the pharmacy, so I won't need to go in. Nothing like last minute. I've been thinking about this since we booked!

Yes, I'm panicking too. I can't see how I'm ever going to get it all done. Tuesdays are busy days even without a trip to pack for. I just have to remember that it's only for a week.

Thanks! I am so looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday. I will be wearing tan (khaki) capri pants and a short sleeve denim blouse with a tan tank under. Don't know what everyone else will be wearing!!!!!

We've decided what shirts we'll be wearing to the port, can't say now if it'll be shorts or jeans for us!! Ill be wearing a white Tshirt w/Dopey on it, saying "I'm with Grumpy" and Keith has an olive green shirt with Grumpy on it, forget what it says exactly....AND we'll be with the Moreno's, so we oughtta be fairly easy to spot!!
