Since you're flying in earlier and if you need a hotel, check hotwire for the MCO Hyatt. I just got it for $93 a night.

Karin, that's actually where we booked, but went through AAA. Our rate isn't even CLOSE to yours! OUCH!!!!! We're going to see if we can grab a Hotwire rate! Thanks for the tip!!!

I booked through AAA many months ago, just to make sure that I had a reservation and knowing that I'd try to get it through hotwire. Try it! It's the only 3 1/2 stars!

Hi Guys...

Sorry I've been missing in action this week. We lost our 17 year old cat, Nicholas, to Renal Failure on Monday and needless to say, nobody is handling it very well. He was such a big part of our family, hardly even seemed like a cat! He was very close to everyone! We've been having a tough time this week, especially my son (9) who slept with him every night! He is having a hard time going to sleep at night without Nicholas on his pillow.

Please let me know what I've missed...

But I finally had some time to look back a little on this thread, and everyone is now on deck 6. I am excited to try the but of the boat, deck 2, close to everthing is what I'm told. But my 1st Disney cruise I was on deck 6. It was awesome. So I called to see if I could upgrade, (Thought I'd surprise my Mom) I figured it broke down to about $50 a day for the veranda. But because I booked through DVC I had to call them. They said there was only like 1 cat up, (Cat 8 I think) so not worth it (I guess this is what is available for DVC) But since I don't have enough points left to cover both upgrades, I would have to cancel one reservation, get the points back, pay cash for one and then use points to upgrade for the other. Not really worth it. When I checked online, there were a few cat 6 left. ((BTW, we have the very last seating. When I called about the upgrade, I asked for my dining rotation so I could plan my wardrobe, I was told they don't know yet (2 weeks before the cruise!?) but not to worry there is no dress up night. Hmmm.))
SO, now I'm wondering, if I get to the port with CASH in my hand, and a cat 6 is avail, will they allow me to upgrade, giving the nonsense I stated above??? Please let me know if you have any insight!!
I also saw that there will be a meet at Mickey pool around three, I'm not so sure that I'll make it, because I will be traveling the red eye from Vegas and might be zonked out in one of the lounge chairs (YES I died and went to Heaven)

I have stayed on Deck 2 before and I loked it quite nicely. There was less motion, and I think it was quiter than deck 6. I am in a lowly cat 11 on deck 6, but I will trade you if ya want. Makes no dif to me as long as I am oon vacation! Woohooo!@

I haven't been to the boards for a while and wanted to catch up with what you all have been doing before we head out in 3 days!!!!!!

We are so excited but nervous about getting everything done & packed on time. Our flight leaves at 6:30 and so we will be leaving our house at 5:00 AM Tuesday morning. We will stay at Pop Century Tuesday night and then switch over to AKL Wed, Thurs & Fri. Saturday we will drive to Cocoa Beach & stay at the Marriott. I don't think I've posted our info about our cabin number and our Cast Members to add to your tally so here it is:

Sorry to hear of your loss. Our family has been through tough times too. We lost a rabbit to a cyst or tumor, right before our Disney World trip. Hopefully the cruise will take your mind off it.

I have some of those clear page protectors, so all I would have to do is glue magnets to that. I think that is a great idea. We could present them the cetificates with magnetic page holders to hang on their door.



When is your 10 yr anniversay? Ours isn't until fall (Sept.) 2007. I think we want to either go to Hawaii or do a cruise around the islands. If I have any time tomorrow, I might make a small sign for our door. We'll see.
