1/21/12 Western Caribbean Cruise

Hmmm..you sure about that one? Saw several people in the Mexican Riviera thread that said the promo applied to their existing booking. Also during my booking worth my TA I asked whether any Disney promos would apply and he said they would. Pretty sure any promo Disney comes out with applies to existing bookings.
Ex Though mine also was not onboatd so maybe that makes a difference...

That is what our TA was saying about the past KSF for caribbean we went on. She said that for the MR since it wasn't selling at all they could keep the OBC but not the 10%. Also the price has already gone up on our cruise since we booked. She said that the KSF might not be a good deal for us. She said the KSF would help people that were already looking at the verandah room & didn't book on line.

Gotcha. We've got a verandah booked and it's a brand new booking..not an onboard so maybe that's why we'd be ok. Did find the instance from the Mexican Riviera thread where person applied it to an existing:

"Yes! You can apply the Kids Sail Free offer to your existing room (if it qualifies) without losing all your reservation details, room number, etc. Our travel agent saved us $2100 last year doing this the very first day they offered KSF on the January Magic sailings. I was thrilled since we are 5 and were already in a cat 4 room.."

For what's it's worth. Course none of this'll matter unless we actually egt the promo anyhow but just make sure you check with TAs and maybe even Disney directly if any promos roll down.

Wow that's completely different than what my TA said! If the KSF does come about, I will have to do a lot of research. :scared1:

Hi all would love to be added to the cruise list, but how do i send a PM?:confused3 Can you tell I'm new to this:)

Click on my name over there <---------- and click on the second option "send a pm to Cheerio"

Keri - I know you were asking about the dining, we ended up switching to early dining because the friends we are travelling with prefer it!

Hello! We finally booked last night! I kept putting it off and my price went up $100, so I decided to quit stalling, lol.
It will be just me- Kelli and my DH Mic (Micalot on the boards). This is our first cruise, so we are excited. I have done a ton of research, though, so I am ready!

I am so totally in for the Fish Extenders! I've been getting some great ideas for FE gifts!

Welcome from your northern neighbor! There is a TON of info on the boards.

Hi all!

Unfortunately the family decided that they want to go to the parks instead of the cruise. I am not happy about it at all but it was 3 against 1. I hope you all have a wonderful cruise. I will be thinking of you!

Real interested to see if this particular board picks up appraoching the cruise too. We have friends on the Transatlantic on the Magic right now and admitedly I'm pretty jealous and the crazy amount of stuff they have listed on the cruise meet board. There's an excel sheet for God's sake ;) Still cool to have some options.

Subscribed to the board anyhow so we'll see 'em as they come in.

That is so funny, I almost booked our cruise based on which meet thread had the most people!

Bring a TON of sunscreen! I thought I had enough, we had to buy some on the ship (very expensive) & still ran out. Even with the clouds covering the sun, people were getting burnt. Saw a ton of people with sun burns by the time we went to castaway cay (last full day). Pool water was warm, but the pools are pretty busy.

good to know, my DH will probably need a full can per day, lol!

No FE link is up yet, I'm more than willing to organize it if someone wants to help me out?? :cheer2:
I will help out, never done it before, so just tell me what to do!

A facebook page would be cool down the line too. Bit easier tyo track and throw stuff up on. Then again the cruise is 236 days away (not that I'm counting...)

Never heard of doing this, interesting!

It seems like nearly everyone is on deck 2, we're gonna be lonely on deck 1!

My goal before the cruise is to stay at WDW for the 2 nights before and possibly do a day at MK on Friday. If I can get a 40% pin code, then we might splurge and stay at the Contemporary. My DH doesn't want to spend the extra $, so I made a deal. If I can make the money at a 2nd job I will be doing, then it's a go. If I can make enough, I want to surprise him with something, but I can't say in case he visits this thread!

We're in Ontario too! My older boys are 12 and 10 - they will love boys their age to hang out with!

We will have to get all of our boys together. I know mine will probably being at the basketball court most of the time like the last cruise. :rotfl:

Mine have NO CLUE yet that we are going! I honestly wonder how I am going to keep it so secrative until Christmas!

My boys are the least of my concern, its the girl I worry about, she has some anxiety leaving her mommy!

oh ya, the DH wants to know if anyone has golfed in Cozumel or Grand Caymen, and if he should pack his own clubs and or rent them! And if they have whether or not he should plan his own adventure or do one with Disney?
