OK movie people here is the list I got from Disney today of the films that will be on our cruise.

There was one more but I don't take shorthand and the lady at Disney talked way to fast.

This is our fist cruise ever and we are very excited. I just found this board tonight through the facebook group. We are travelling with another family of four. My family consists of my wife and I and our daughter Payge 12 and son Cole 9. Can't wait!! Arriving in Orlando on the 20th. We have rented cars and will be staying in Cocoa Beach that night.

I added you to our facebook group. There is also a kids facebook group too. A lot of kids your kids age will be on the cruise. My son is 10. This is our second cruise. We are coming in Friday the 20th also but will stay near the hotel this time.

Well, we have turned the corner. Down to single digits before we set sail. I'm sure everyone is getting even more excited, especially the kids.

I ventured a peak at the "extended" weather. Fingers crossed, so far so good. But as we all know, subject to change without notice.

Today, here in the Northeast, we had our first snow day of the school year. So, the kids are home with me today. They know mom and dad are going to Mexico, they just have no idea it's on "Mickey's Ship." We're not telling either. Don't get me wrong, they have been on many cruises (more than most children should be). So they aren't missing much. We plan to book another "adventure" for all of them while we're onboard.

Anyway, keep packing.

wader - we also are flying in on the 20th around 2:15 pm and staying in Cocoa Beach. We are staying at the Courtyard. Maybe we'll bump into you. I'm traveling with my DH, DD (6), Mother-in-law and my parents - a party of 6.

9 more days 9 more days (8 til I'm on vacation ).

We have had such a mild winter for Indiana. Sunny and 40/50 weather, just unreal, but not today. We are getting snow and it's getting cold out there. Too bad the nice weather didn't last.

We are staying at the Comfort Inn and Suites which is about .25 miles north of the Courtyard!! We are planning on spending some time on Friday at Downtown Disney and I think they are leaning towards the Cheesecake Factory in Orlando for dinner!

We are renting a car and going to Downtown Disney Friday nite for dinner. My parents and sister have never been to Downtown, they are worried they won't find anything to eat and there is nothing to do. I'm worried I won't be able to get them to leave.

Hard to believe that we're traveling in 3 days...

Can't wait, trying to tie up all the last minute stuff here at home. Last minute shopping and information for my mom (she's watching the kids).

Mbung - you may have difficulty getting them to leave. Lots of dinning options and shopping options. Don't forget to stop at Captn' Jack's Margarita Bar for a celebration (vacation) drink...

I hate to say just how superstitious I am...I have been checking and rechecking the weather for our week away in the Western Caribbean - and here is the website I found (if you're interested).

So far all looks good. But being from the Northeast, I know the weather changes in an instant.

It has been very busy here too! After the day I had at work today I wondered if I was going to make it! Got our hair cut after work, hubby took the boy to basketball & I got a manicure/pedicure. I'll make it to vacation now.

Hope the snow holds off here for us to get on the plane Friday!

All the clothes are out and after we take the animals to their hotel(I think they know something is up-the 6 month old kitten hasn't left my side in 2 days), we start the packing process. Wheels up in 24 hours and off to get the last minute things done. See ya on the ship saturday.
