Super excited for our second cruise! We just went on our first, Eastern Caribbean cruise (1/29/11) & booked for more Magic! :rotfl:

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

We too are booked for our second cruise, coming January 21, 2012, after enjoying the Dec. 4, 2010 Eastern sailing. We have also convinced my brother and his family to join us this time around.

Joining me will be my wife, and or daughters (6 and 4 by time we sail), brother and sister-in-law, nephew (16) and niece (7).

Awesome! My husband would love to get some of his siblings to come along. I bet you all will have a blast!

Just booked this morning. Super excited!! Just wish it was closer. It will be myself, DH, DD11, DD7, and DS4. Just got back from a 10 night trip to WDW so we are ready for a relaxing cruise. this will be out 6th cruise with Disney.

It helped to ease the pain of leaving our first cruise knowing we had booked another one! I agree, I wish it was sooner too!

Have you ever done the Western before?

We have never done a 7 night. Only 3 and 4 night cruises combined with a Disney World vacation. This time we are doing a 7 night and 5 nights at Disney World.

Oh wow sounds like fun! We've never done DW before (hubby has as a kid). Our Eastern cruise last month was the first Disney thing we did as a family.

Haven't done WDW either. We plan to wait a couple more years, so our youngest is a bit older.

We are really looking forward to this next cruise as our youngest will be turning 4 while on-board. She wasn't quite comfortable with all the excitement last time, but this time around should be perfect.

Yeah there is a lot going on that's for sure! :cutie: I don't think we will be doing anything other than the cruise again this time. Won't want DS to miss too much school & us too much work.

We just changed rooms from the Verandah with Navigators category 7a (the room we had last time) to a "secret Verandah" 6a category at the 7a price. Because of the obstruction of the view it's cheaper. Still very open & nice without paying more. Woo hoo! :rotfl:  :cloud9:

We also are booked on the January 21, 2012 7 Night Cruise! This time, we are bringing our friends, ages approximately 80!:grouphug:
I have done two shorter cruises, with Disney and even though my "baby" daughter is 30 years old, we had a super time, both times! I am looking forward to the relaxation and expanded opportunities of the longer cruise. What activities do you know about on this cruise? Which ones do you think you'd like to take part in?:goodvibes

How great to meet you! My family is so super excited for our second cruise. We did the the Eastern in Jan. The longer cruises are so relaxing! I heard the shows are wonderful, but we never made it. Too busy doing nothing! :lmao:
We really enjoyed formal & semi formal night (was surprised that my 9 year son did too). We went to one club show (it was like a game show, I think it was called a pirates life for me) & it was a ton of fun, we hope to do more this next time. It was really neat to try different things & foods. :cloud9

What are the best activities available on this cruise? What do you wear to the "Formal Night"? Any ideas?:rotfl:

Your head will spin when you see all the activities on the daily navigator! Between the lounge shows, bingo (that cost extra), movies, shows, shopping, art, lounging, there is more than you will ever can do! Look through the threads for recent Western Navigators & you can get an idea of all the activities to do.

There are a TON of threads on clothing & people do get fired up about it. sigh
We saw people in t-shirts & shorts (Disney asks you to not wear shorts to dinner) to people in gowns & tuxes. My son & husband wore khaki's & a dress shirt (hubby wore a tie); I wore a fancier sundress. We fit in just fine. Wore about the same thing on semi-formal night too.

Thanks for writing! It sounds like we will have a lot of options to choose from. We liked the shorter cruises, but they didn't have as many choices and I do think even with all the activities to "seduce" us, we will have a more relaxed time, this time. I will certainly check out the reports in the other threads. Thanks for the suggestion!
:thumbsup2
