When we booked, we couldn't get anything but Thurs at 8:30 pm also....75 days out. Maybe we'll see you....if we can't get it changed also.

We leave tomorrow night and I'm not ready....excited....but not packed.

On our last cruise, we couldn't get reservations at Palo's when we boarded (we had number 4). It was all booked. HOWEVER, each member of our party put our name on the waiting list (4 different cabins) and all 4 of us were called with times/days. They really try to make it work so don't get too discouraged if you don't get it right away - just put your name on the waitlist and I'm sure you will be able to get it. SEE YOU ALL SOON! I will post the last roll call now.

Sorry, 2 quick questions, figured that you guys could help...
My neighbors who are also going (2 kids DS5 and DD7) asked if there are microwaves that she could heat up easy mac. and also asked if there were snacks like granola bars that her son loves.

I don't believe there is a microwave for guest use - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=864349&referrerid=&highlight=microwave+cruise

I don't recall seeing granola bars - that is any easy thing to pack and I'd suggest that if it is a must just in case. See you all soon! Lisa

We had to cancel. Our daughter got very sick Tuesday am and was hopitalized for the last three days for stomach flu and dehydration. We are home now, but not yet able to say that she is really on the road to recovery yet.

We are looking into rebooking for 3/3. Thank goodness for trip insurance. Hope you all enjoy the trip.

It wasfun, wasn't it? We alost didn't see our 14 yo DS at all, he was so involved with the teens. Our 10 yo DS opted to spend more and more time at Oceaneer Lab as the week wore on, and our 2 yo DD said on Saturday morning, "I don't wanna go!" I thought that was pretty amazing, as she is a young 2 but was already in love with all of the Princesses.

It was nice meeting you all, too! Katie, I wish we had connected--maybe we did and I just didn't know it. We sure met a lot of nice people.

I wish we did also. I actually forgot about the Sunday meet until it was over and also the meet at 5 in the Roy suite...which I thought would have been cool. Thanks so much for inviting us there. We had a great time and would love to do it again, but probably not for another 2 years. We didn't do any type of school though....did you?

Katie, I was napping with Luci on the Sunday meet. I completely forgot about it. I met Beachwench and her comrades the next day or so and they said it was too crowded up there (a party?) t blow bubbles and really meet up with someone. I did go to the Wed meet at the Roy Suite, thank you, Calmom!! So happy for you that you had such nice digs, and nice of you to let us see them.

We didn't "do school" at all while on the ship, but JT did enough educational things in the Oceaneer Lab that I can count those as one day of field trip. Which makes him one day ahead of his big brother on schoolwork, big brother is not happy with that. Mostly the teens played, I think.

We are going to try going again in about 5 years. It would be nice to go sooner, though!

We had such a great time - and I'm so glad some of you could come visit. We are booked right now for two cruises, although I'm not sure I can convince DH for even 1 so soon! But we are looking at another extended family trip for the July 08 West Coast - about 3 of my siblings and their families, and my parents have that booked. We got two of the Secret porthole rooms for that one. And then we also booked the WB Repo - but (long story) couldn't get our onboard discount for that one. Big bummer. But that is the one I really want to go on. Our kids didn't do homework, but if we do the repo one they would for sure. They got a little behind, but caught up quickly. Boy it was fun! Lisa

Oh yeah! We met Sunnyd and her family, but it was as we were leaving customs and getting into our cars! My 10, who was supposed to meet up with Sunnyd's kids, was so bummed out about leaving the ship he didn't even pay attention. I still don't know if they met in the Lab.

Tell me what the Repositioning cruise is--I've heard someone else mention that, too. What is that? Thanks.
