1/2 Marathon group?

Is there one set up? I just saw this morning that the registration is full, and I didn't sign up because I wanted to make sure that the group got credit! Please help!?!?!? DH is REALLY looking forward to this and I don't want to disappoint him

I know Kathy is working on the group. She's in negotiations with Disney, and I believe is waiting on the final contract. I highly doubt we will be shut out of the race, but with everything going on with the cruise I don't think anything will be finalized until after that.

I am hoping this is still the case! I haven't been on in a while cuz we've been back and forth to WDW for SWW...another him thing But he's still looking forward to it, and if anyone sees any info, please pass it this way!

So happy to see that it's still in the works! We just got back from 2 weeks of galivanting around and as soon as we arrived home, I started wondering if the team had officially started yet!

I, too am excited! My training is going very well, I've gotten re-fitted with new shoes, and although my Achilles has been giving me some issues, a minor cold forced some rest and I'm feeling better!
We're using this trip as the "family Christmas present" and I'm having a hard time not telling DD (6)!

Remember that you can always sign up through one of the charities listed. You wouldn't be running for the DisUnplugged team, but you can still run and you can raise money for GKTW or any other charity of choice. Just something to keep in the back of your mind in case there isn't a DIS team.

You can only sign up with charities that have been approved through Disney.

If the DIS Unplugged gets a team together, it would be approved through Disney and we could get a late registration, I believe.

Otherwise we will have to sign up with an approved group.

I am no longer going to be able to run in the half with the DIS anyway...I am using too much vacation to do the cruise and 2 other trips. Instead I am running in the Half on the same day here in MS.

This would be great! I was so disappointed a few weeks ago when I went to sign up and saw that it was full. I'd actually considered signing up for the Goofy run, but only doing the 1/2 marathon.
