1/2 day HS - FP+ strategy?

Hi all! We are planning to make HS a half-day park - we will spend the morning in EPCOT (EMH) then hop to HS for the afternoon/evening when the EPCOT crowds start getting crazy.

As our last trip was in 2005 (!), we are FP+ rookies - but after reading various opinions, I think the strategy that will work best for us is to try to book our FP+s fairly early in the day, and then look to grab more after using those first 3.

I'm just not sure, though, whether to do that for that HS day - the only FP+s that are really vital to us are TS Mania and ToT (as CA dwellers, we've experienced both at DLR, and they are absolute favorites of my husband and son, respectively - and who knows when we'll get to do ToT again???).

I'm intrigued to hear others' thoughts about whether we're likely to able to pull a 4th and 5th FP+ for these two rides, or whether I should just book FP+s for the afternoon at HS, and make do without during that morning at EPCOT....

ETA: sorry, should have mentioned that the date in question is Thursday, April 12 - TP lists HS as 4/10

What are your must dos at EP and do you have another EP day planned? EMH will help you at EP as long as you're there before park opening, but knowing what you want to do there will help us give you better advice.

Thanks, Sharonabe! We do plan to return to EP the next day (Friday, April 13) - up in the air right now whether that will be another half day or a full day (we do have reservations for the HEA viewing party that evening, but no other restrictions on that day, which will be our last in the parks). I think our only REAL must-dos are FEA and Test Track, but I also know my boys will want to spend time just exploring around FW, and possibly WS as well.

My suggestion is to get the FPs for HS on the first day. Get TSM and ToT for afternoon. Then, rope drop TT and Soarin at EP and then go on anything else...Spaceship Earth...you should get all of Future World done in the morning.
Get a FEA FP for the next day (if you must...really not worth it) or just RD FEA the next day and have FP for MK later in the day, before HEA.
