Hello new friends, Just paid off the cruise today and made Palo reservations, so I guess that means we are going!

DH and I booked this last year when we were on a 4-nt sailing of the Magic in January. He's never been on a 7-nt cruise, so we are looking forward to this one a lot.

Hi all! Not necessarily interested in FE. I'm more interested in what to expect as this is our first ever cruise. DH is 39, I'm 35, and our kids are DS9, DS6 (will turn 7 on the cruise), DD4, and DS2. I've been lurking in the forums looking for answers to all of our questions, but I can't seem to find any threads on this particular sailing, other than this thread. TIA for any help you can offer, or some links of where to look. Since I literally just booked and paid for this a day ago, it's all a little surreal. Looking forward to connecting with you all.

Hi! We just booked our cruise and are so excited! We were suppose to be on the Fantasy Oct. 25 thru Nov 1st, but had to cancel the day before b/c my MIL had a heart attack. So, we just rebooked. Anyway, is it to late to participate in the FE Exchange? Please advise!! I have all the stuff from the previous cruise. Thanks!

Hi. We are booked on this cruise. It will be our 10th DCL cruise and my daughter mentioned today that whenever she goes to the clubs on the first night it always seems like the kids already know each other and it's hard for her to fit in. I told her that they are meeting online before the cruise so she asked me to see if there was a group for our cruise. She is 14 so will be in the Vibe. I also signed her up for the teen excursion on CC.
We are traveling with another family with 2 girls, 11 and 8. We really can't wait!

My DD is 11 and can not wait to go also. Same here about making friends and meeting people. Around this age it is so hard for kids that when they finally start talking the cruise is over. My daughter will be going to the clubs and keeping busy. Unfortunately she is not a teen so she can not do any teen excursions.

Hi all,

I'm Kim (as you probably surmised from the user name) and my family will be on board this cruise, after spending two and a half days at WDW.

My two sons are almost 9 years old and 6 years old and are VERY excited about our upcoming trip. We sailed on the Fantasy's third (?) voyage almost two years ago and they have been dying to try the other ships!

We won't be participating in the FE, but I'd love to join this group and give my kids the opportunity to make friends in advance. The eldest is a little reserved, so making connections in advance would help. The youngest is a modern day Tom Sawyer, and has no issues making friends of any age.

Looking forward to interacting with all of you!

Links to Cruise Meet discussion/Fish Extenders other than those on the DIS may not be posted or offered by any other means (PM, email, "search" directions, etc.).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.
