1/17/09 Magic anyone???

I cheat....instead of bringing a bottle of perfume with me (always afraid of it breaking). I just stop by the shops and give myself a spritz with the different testers each night!!! LOL!!!:rotfl2:

Speaking of music.....here is a link of music that I gathered from a thread a few months back...I just put them in alpha order but when we had our pre-cruise party last time (we had a group of 20 going) I played them all and they were a hit!!!

Hello, welcome to the group.

Amanda went through and made a list of everyone that's been on the forum so far to try and get a count for a meet and greet. It's post #433.

Thanks for the info.

We have another 12 inches of snow coming in tonight ... can it be time to go already???

Oh wow! There's no way I could survive there. We haven't even seen snow this year but I'm such a cold natured person that I'm freezing at 40-50 degree weather. There not much I can say to make it better but just keep thinking about the warm weather you'll be feeling in just a few more days. :sunny:

Are most of you dressing up for formal night? I've been reading that a lot of people don't dress up even for formal night. My girls were excited to shop for a special dress to wear on the ship. I just don't want them to feel like they are overdressed. We don't have full length prom gowns, just the normal length "social" dresses and I've got my hubby in a suit (he hates to dress up).

I would say easily 75% or more of the ship dresses up for formal night. Your girls will not feel out of place at all!!! It is so lovely to be in the atrium that night and see everyone dressed up, especially the little kids...they look adorable. In 16 DCL cruises I have always seen the majority of people dressed up for formal night.

Ok...I fixed the problem and now here is a link that should work to pics of our Eastern cruise in October of 2008....but, our itinerary had changed due to Hurricane Omar so we did not make it to St. Thomas...instead we went to Nassau. Also I apologize that they are not in any real order!!!

We're dressing up ... boys have a shirt and tie, and DH has shirt and tie (no jacket), and I'm wearing a DRESS! I hate dresses, but I think it will make for a cute picture ... and I'd never want to offend someone who wanted to dress up nicely. At least I'm making a compromise! For the second night I have some nice black pants and a nice shirt ... boys have button down shirts. So we won't be in tuxes or anything (God bless those people), but we live in North Idaho ... we'd feel totally uncomfortable ... and this is vacation! :)

We also will be dressing up. I'll wear a suit, my wife and daughter will wear nice dresses. I don't like tuxes so won't get to that extreme. :)
