Hello all!!!

What's the verdict on bringing the kids to the DIS meet?? Like I said before, if most people are doing it, we will but if most are not we would probably prefer not to. I'm sure they will want to be in the Club!!

I was going to bring them and then see how it goes. If they become restless, I was going to run them to the clubs and come back.

I've read on the trip reports that some kids clicked right away at the cruise meet and became inseparable, so I was going to at least open that avenue.

Yes, I hear you on the flying time aspect! I FINALLY bought my trip insurance and located some 3 Day Park Hopper Plus-es, which is the perfect ticket for our time at WDW since we're doing 2 days prior/1 day after the cruise. At last, I can concentrate on the mundane like what to pack!

I'm worrying less about Delta now that their prices are jumping up again. A sure sign that things are looking up for them.

:rolleyes1:

Trouble? No trouble! No worries!

Yes, they have posted losses. Just like US Air and American and they were having a pilot dispute, but no more than any other Airline.

I think that they have a 'wait and see' attitude, that will take us past January. Although, the fact that their prices dropped lower than Jetblue and Southwest really concerned me. The prices jumped up so :smooth:

I feel bad for saying anything. :(

Yes, we have booked for the August re-positioning cruise. Our friends that usually go with us are having a little problem seeing if he can get time off from work. He works at the University and that is a busy time for them. He is trying to see if he can find someone that can cover for him. DU got us a good price and we are planning on going.

Well go over there and introduce yourself. If nothing else that thread is an interesting read!! Looking forward to our cruise in January...Mark

Well guys the time is just flying by isn't it!! I can't believe where we are on the numbers of our clocks. I know Meshee and I started at 200 and something and now we are in the double diget and counting down. :hyper:

Just wanted to give everyone an FYI. I called DCL last night to ask a couple of question so I figured I would ask about GC as we all want to know what is really going on there. Well the DCL staff told me that they were going to start going to the island as soon as this weekend. She said that DCL will be going and seeing what people are thinking and then go from there. As far as she knows don't cancel or not book excursions on GC because we'll be going unless we hear otherwise. She figured they'd have a pretty good picture after two stops there. So there it is, the information or one of the pieces we have been waiting for. Now lets see who else calls in and gets a totally different story...Meshee and I seem to have that trouble! LOL

I am off to work...have a great day everyone! Pauline

:boat:

Thanks for the update on GC Pauline. I hope it's all good! I want to swim with the Rays!

karebear1- It's more like a stingray shuffle. The water is only about waist deep and whenever a new boat arrives, the rays mob those people for food, picture feeding pidgeons in the park, the rays bump you for food. It freaks out the kids. Every parent in the water had their kids on their shoulder or climbing onto their heads. Definately a winner for funniest video!...Mark

Oh my gosh! that is hysterical!!! Well- mayeb it's a good thing we'll b e there at 7:30 AM- and a good thing that we won't have any kids with us! This ought to be fun!

Houzer and Meeshe..... how are your kids gonna handle that????

karebear1: I know my kids won't care and I don't think Annie's oldest will either...not sure how her youngest will be though. Annie was unsure about that herself. I am pretty sure mine will think that is pretty cool! I HOPE!! LOL Talk soon Pauline

P.S. What do you think Annie??

Well- it'll make for some good photo ops! I'll take lots of pics with kids climbing on your head- you'll all look like the totem pole at the WL!!!

My oldest has already swam with dolphins, stingrays, sharks.....etc and loved it. My youngest DS6 is an excellent swimmer and good at snorkeling in a pool. However, we could not get him in the snorkeling area at Typhoon Lagoon because there were sharks in the waters.... I am sure we will be the ones walking around with a child on our shoulders....

All I can do is LOL when I think of Tyler on your head Annie.....

:rotfl:

Does anyone know what airline DCL usually use? When I asked them which one we'd be flying with out of Toronto they couldn't tell me and said I'd find out on the 30 day mark?? Any experience with this or do they just go with who ever is the cheapest at that time? Pauline

Does anyone know when we should start looking for our docs?? I'm hoping they get here by Christmas, is that a realistic expectation??

Kelli
