Ha Ha! My word, you're gonna scare them away!

Go ahead and list your questions, Steve & Shirley. I, for one, would love to see how much I know!

As for the cabin number, we are GTY and will find out within the 60 period. (In other words, when the docs. come!)

Thats where we stand also waiting on the docs .....when we find out we will surely let you all know

karebear1:

We just recently booked "Stingray City Snorkel Tour" (3 - 3.5 hours) with DCL. Houzer booked as well. There are two different stingray excursions with DCL. There is also "Stingray City Reef Sail & Snorkel" (3 hours). Two different CMs could not tell us the difference between the two excursion, however, one thought the size of the boat might be the only difference. Has anyone else experience these two excursions? Does anyone know the difference between the two excursion?

Hi Karebare,

We are Ben, Kelly, Holly, and Joe. I thought my parents would come with us , but looks like they are not now, so that is all we'll need. They have not been on here so they are missing out on all of this pre-vacation FUN :hyper: Thanks so much for making the tags, it will be nice.

We are staying at POP a couple of days before the cruise as well, perhaps we will see you there!

:wave2: Anyone else from Canada on this post other then Meshee and her family? Just wondering if anyone else is flying out of Toronto of any other provice other then the U.S.??? Houzer

Sorry Houzer- we're NOT from Canada.

BUT- I was wondering when everyone's dinner seating is scheduled for? Our is the late seating. Anyone else?

We are also late seating and so is Meshee's family. We are dining together for the cruise. Thanks Houzer

Cruiser- where are you from in Oregon?

I think we may have traded posts a few weeks ago. We are in Monmouth, just east of Salem. I seem to remember you guys are in Portland right? We are flying out of PDX on Jan 12, staying that night near MCO airport, then the following few days at Pop Century.

This will be our 3rd cruise on DCL, the first was a land/sea, the second an Eastern. Here are our details:

Lee - (me) - Software Engineer @ HP
Catherine - (wife) - Mary Kay / HP
Andrew "AJ" - will be 3 years old on 12/30
Elizabeth - 9 years old

Also I think I read something about a meet & greet on the ship, count us in (well at least me and the wife, the kids will probably be in the clubs) .

Counting the days!

Lee

Same here, late seating...

We are early seating, but on the waiting list for late seating.

I didn't even ask about seating when I booked with the travel agent, but I'm glad we are early as we are 5 o'clock eaters anyway. I'm surprised there was a waiting list for late seating way back when we booked in April. I'm not gonna be pushing my kids to eat with me anyway if they want to eat with the clubs.

Last time, I thought they were going to expire before their meal came. You know, single mom-3 boys-we don't eat out much!! That whole waiting for the meal thing is not their forte.

In fact, it was the last trip when I realized I was back and forth too much from the table and needed to spend more time at the table teaching ' the social graces ' This trip will be the benchmark to see how much they've learned in a year.

As for the Stingray/Snorkel excursion question way back on the page before, we're booked outside of DCL with Nativeway, first trip of the day.

We have early seating and we are not doing any DCL excursions. Hubby and I are going to shop a little at Key West while the boys stay in the club. We are all going to Paradise Beach in Cozumel for the day and Playa de Sol in Grand Cayman (hopefully!). I can't believe we leave in 2 1/2 months!!!!

Meshee and Houzer-
Would you mind if my DH and I joined you on that Stingrau/Snorkle cruise? We're very nice people and won't hog the stingrays all to ourselves! :p

Karebear1:

You are more than welcome to join us on the stingray excursion. The more the merrier...... However, I am going to warn you..... I have a DD12 and DS6 and Houzer has a DS12 and a DS6 who will be on the excursion with us. I am 41 and my DH is 43. Houzer and her DH are 35. We have booked the "Stingray City Snorkel Tour" (3 - 3.5 hours) with DCL. We are still trying to find out what the difference is between the "Stingray City Snorkel City" and the "Stingray City Reef Sail & Snorkel" (3 hours) excursion.

Kids don't scare us! We have 3 of our own- and while DH is 45 and I am 43, our kids are 23, 22, 21 ! If we can handle that..... wecan ahndle ANYTHING!

We'll enjoy being on it with your kids! :p

Meshee- I LIED!!!! I told you my DH is 45- but he's 48! And then I lied.... AGAIN!! I'm not 43.... I'm 45 !! I don't know what I was thinking ! I guess that's just something that happens when you reach our ages!!!

Now...

Steve and Shirley-
You are right across the hall from us! We're in 6956! That's consider midship- between the nidship[ elevators and the back stairs.

So- I guess I should say "Hi neighbor!"

Thats great mark............disney thinks of everything..put us that close just incase we need a babysitting excursion:D
