0n-line cancel website

Go to the Disney dining webpage (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/), put your cursor over the My Disney Vacations part in the upper right corner. (If you just click there, it takes you to a page that isn't helpful, so dont' click.) A list will drop down while your cursor is just hovering over My Disney Vacation. Left click there and hold the left mouse button down while you slide the cursor down to Dining Reservations. Click on it, and log in. When the Disney dining page opens again, go back to the My DIsney Vacation corner and repeat - left click and hold, then slide it down to Dining Reservations again. This will bring up a page where you enter just your ADR confirmation and your phone number. When it retrieves your ADR, there will be a "cancel" box on the right.

I know this seems like an involved process, but it's the only way I could do it. if there's something easier, I'm sure someome will share.

This won't work for CP packages that had to be done over the phone - those can only be cancelled or changed by calling. I'm not sure about other phone ADRs, since the CP was the only one I did. But this definitely works for ADRs made online.

you used to be able to do this without logging in to the WDW site proper and it was a fast and easy process. Now it's a PITA, if you will excuse the expression. I had to go back to the WDW-DINE number to cancel two ADRs this week because the online system wouldn't work properly. I knew it was too good to last ... it ain't Disney if their web features aren't cumbersome and don't suck. :lmao:

And I had the opposite: I have cancelled and reworked my ADRs a number of times online and had no issues whatsoever. I found it very easy to follow the screens and it was done in no time. Haven't called the WDW-DINE once. I also LOVE the online system and have not run into the problems that some others are having.:confused3

To be fair it worked great for me as long as I didn't have to log in - I could reserve and cancel with impunity and it was great!

Now I can still make a reservation without logging in but if I want to cancel online it wants me to register with WDW proper. And I've tried to do that but it keeps telling me that my user ID was canceled ... which makes no sense since I never registered with them before.

I don't understand why I can make an ADR with no log-in but can't do the same to cancel. Like I said in an earlier post - it used to be that way but isn't any longer.

Oh well ... this is our last WDW trip for a few years and I've got all the ADR stuff worked out so we're in good shape. Hopefully more people will have your experience, Robin, than mine and some others!
