Welcome Back Rellingtwin!:Pinkbounc

Mike J; take a deep breath and RELAX

padisneyfan: I'll bring the BIG pin (needle) you bring the alcohol!:D
Kimber, Sorcerer1, Going to the store Right now. Can't wait to hear the Boss and The E-Street band together again. Plus growing up in New York, real personal about the Twin Towers.
papa; glad your dad is ok.
Can you all believe the miners are ALL alive! I just cried!

Thanks Mike!

I was so happy today to be able to book the fishing trip at Castaway Cay for DH and DS. I have tried on our 2 other cruises to do this but missed out both times. DS would rather fish then almost ANYTHING else!He was very dissapointed last year when I was unable to book the fishing trip.

We plan on doing Key West on our own. I would like to meet up with Shirley (from the perfect gift) somewhere and get an "insides view" of KW. DH also wants to see the "Cat Man" at the Sunset celebration.

We are going to do StingRay City, with Capt. Marvin in Grand Cayman, maybe a litlle shopping afterwards.

In Cozumel we have booked a snorkel tour with a private operator. This will allow my DBIL to dive while the rest of us snorkel.

It is REALLY getting close everyone!

Question.....I saw a post from Wavegirl. The post did not say if she was going on our cruise. Anyone know?

Hello All,
We have booked our excusions also. I didn't book anything through the DCL though. Booked Captain Marvins through him and the Dolphin Discover directly through them also. It sounds great. It is the Dolphin Swim not the Encounter. The program is one hour in length. One half hour is a video and instruction and 35 minutes is actually swimming and interacting with the dolphins. Only six people swim at a time. We booked the 2 pm. Someone else also said they booked it, sorry can't remember who it was. In Key West we are just going to do the Trolley. Got the tickets off the web. We will just go early and get on and off as we please. I want to spend some time on the ship.

Got the T shirts done and all the transfers ironed on today.
Bought a new suitcase and have the collapsible cooler in it and ready to go!!!
Have a good evening all. Elaine
Karen and Beth did you get my pm's?

Sitting here listening to Springsteen's new CD. Crying, laughing, and making my DD crazy. There's a song called Mary's Room that's JUST GREAT!!! Do they have CD player's in the state rooms? LOL

No cd players Ave. Just take you a small portable one with headphones and sing along with the songs. It will make the kids try to find a place to hide if you are with them and they run into any of their friends:p Mike

Good Evening all ...

Hotter than Hades here in Anchorage ~ Over 80 degrees ~ HOT~
Almost considered skipping my golf practice after work - NOT!

Someone asked about Snorkeling with Stingrays and was concerned about swimming ability. As I remember it, I could actually stand-up with my chest & head above water level. We were quite a ways off shore but the sandbars made for shallow water. It was a blast - really shouldn't miss the chance.

Alabama controls my destiny on excursions. Know that she has confirmed Tulum Ruins, Grand Cayman most likely Stingrays & Turtles Tour. Key West is a just hang-out and cruise the town & shops day. (Be less expensive to pay for an excursion!!!) ~ She will have been to Germany & England before cruise dates. Maybe she will be shopped out? Probably not and since I will not have gotten her anything for either her birthday or anniversary, she will need to compernsate! Just kidding HONEY!!! Be gentle!!!

For anyone still wondering what to do here is an interesting site about the Cayman Islands sent to me by my honey.

http://caymanislandsdiscounts.com/

Still HOT!!! Snow has all melted! Global warming has turned Alaska into a desert! Oops it's already classified as a desert!

Did anyone know that ALL polar bears are left-handed?
Only took a few years and MANY dinaros to figure that out!

Okay so the heat has affected my single remaining brain cell.

HH&GB to all

DEnnis...how do they know they are left handed????Do they hand them a pen??LOL!!!

Anyone want to meet Shirley in Key West?? I am looking for suggestions of a meeting plavce near Mallory Square. Is Sloopy Joes, or Hogs Breath near there??
Shirley maybe I need to ask you to ick a place near Malloy Suare (maybe arond 5 or 6pm???)

We always bring our CD player. Gotta listen to Keb Mo while getting ready for dinner!

Glad that you have the puter up and running Mary. Kathy and I have dental appointments this am. Is there a law that says you hve to pay to have pain put upon you early in the am? Just cleanings, but it makes my jaws tired.

Meeting Shirley would be nice. If we haven't wilted by then maybe we could say hello. Mike

Rellingtwin - Apparently what happened is they spent MANY $$$ paying scientists to study polar bears. Over the years the inexperienced scientists would get their butts frozen to the ice sitting watching polar bears. Hungry bears would come along and whack em off the side of the head with their left paw!!!

Who witnessed this? The local eskimos who were smart enough not to sit down on the ice!!!

OH - the HEAT is really getting to me !!!! I need a vacation!!!

Hello to all, sounds like the excursion office had a workout. We will going on the Tulum excursion in Cozumel, and hopefully with Capt Marvin in GC. I haven't heard back from the email I sent them, so I may have to send another.

Power_Alaska is having the time of his life, "fishing" all weekend, catching the salmon. Sent me picture of him and two of the smelly things. He looked great, the fish didn't look like they were having as much fun.

We are looking forward to meeting all of you at the Radisson and on the cruise. The brunch sounds absolutely wonderful and will be a lot of fun.

Glad your computer is fixed again Mary. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

This is going to be a busy time for me, I leave for Germany with the ANG on the 17th of August and get back on the 31st. I have planned to go to London for three days with a girlfriend that is stationed there already. I can hardly wait to go, it will make the cruise that much closer when I get back.

Everyone take care and stay healthy.

Mary ... Did I hear that the Puter is back and working? I'm going to e-mail you some info that I got for your list. Bet you were
:bounce: mad with the situation.

Mike ... Called in Art's reservation and they linked him with you for the Ship Wreck & Snorkel thingy. Hope the choppers are OK for you and Kathy.

I keep thinking another day closer to seeing that beautiful water, our GREAT DIS FRIENDS and the food.......

Back to work.

Some of you may want to check out the Thread under Cruise Reports listed as 7/6 Western Ports by Auntienee ... she gives some heads up on what she did in the different ports and how it worked out. Seems that they did a beach thingy on their own in Cozumel that sounds nice and reasonable.

Hope everyone is having a MICKEY Day ...

Anyone other than me started to pack?
My DH thinks I'm crazy but there is only 58 days!!!!!

Rae

I heard back from Capt Marvin's
The list I sent was:
Relling party of (9) That's me!
Ponda (4)
Worrell (1)
Began (4)
Shannon (3)
Power (2)
The reply I got was:

Mary,
I have heard from all but the Powers. We'll do our best to get you all on the same boat! Thanks--
Ruth

I just saw that a 9/7/02 cruiser got the docs today!!!! I guess we can expect ours in about 3 weeks!!!!

Rae...you are NOT alone. I have been setting things aside (in our large suitcase) for about 1 month. Since many of the things I will be taking are NOT things I will need before the cruise (formal dress/shoes, beach wrap ect..) I think packing can start soon!

Dennis...I have been laughing all day over the Polar Bears!
Chrystina...Send Capt. Marvins another e-mail (I hope, I got your last name correct)

Mary

I sent an email to Capt Marvins about booking us on the 10am with you guys. Haven't heard back from them, so if you can book it please do so!!:Pinkbounc I will be eternally grateful!

I have spent the last 3 hours booking a flight from Frankfurt to London and trying to book a hotel in London. My girlfriend in Germany was online trying to help, but since it was in the wee hours of the morning there, she wasn't functioning a top speed. So we put off the hotel til tomorrow. I am looking forward to the trip to Germany and London. Lots to do, both sightseeing and training wise in the Ramstein Hospital. But, I am sure glad my honey booked the cruise stuff....it's tiring looking at web pages and prices and converting GBP to USD.

Have a great day, take care. I really appreciate all the info that comes out on the thread. You guys are great.:D

This is our first Disney Cruise and have several questions but, I won't list them all in one reply. We are traveling with our three children 12, 11 and 8. Will the kids be bored in the Oceanear Club? We are in room 8056, can you tell me anything about that room? Should you book the excersions through Disney or on your own? Please let me know, we are so excited and can't believe it is less than 2 months away.:bounce:
