I have several friends/children and their families that are going to that meet. They do a great job. Sure keeps the children busy.

Well guess what they just said on the news?? The weather guy calculated the amount of sunshine that we have had in the last 14 days.

Anyone want to take a guess??




Well, it has been calculated as 2 hours and 51 minutes of sunshine in 14 days. Just another plus (besides the economy) to come and live in MI

That is awesome. We were at Hollywood Studios this last June and got to see the shuttle launch. It was spooky how well you can see it from there once it leaves the pad.

I hope that on one of my trips to Florida that I can actually go over to the cape and see a launch.

Trust me if you ever get to you should. I was so close to it yesterday that the ground shock and the fire was sooooo bright it was hard to look at, but at the same time you can't take your eyes off of it. I was at the Oct. launch as well for work and this one was much better because the skies cleared up and you could see it for a really long time. The one in Oct. where we were was so close we lost in the clouds after about 45 seconds.

Hi everybody been busy the past couple of days keeping up with the Snow Mary keeps sending us from Chi Town.
Day before yesterday we had about 8 inches'and today its been like lake effect snow but off the ocean. It's been snowing all day,and tomorrow night we are dur to get anothe foot. Enough is enough.
I hope everyone is staying out of trouble. Are you being a good girl Kay.
Joan this keeps up Nanc and I are without a doubt taking a trip. Guess where HA HA.
Mary I hope the foot is doing better and you keep Mark shoveling that snow.

I leave in a couple of hours for WDW to stay with some CM friends for the day/night and then over to the Port on Sunday to meet up with Tina and others, when we'll have a fabulous 4 days together. I'll have a Konk Cooler for you, Dan.


Linda - will miss you but only to see you in 2 weeks, when we cruise again on the Wonder.

OK Dan- I'll stop sending snow. Actually we've had above freezing the past two days so the snow is slowly melting.

I'm excited to go and see our friends today. Below is a picture from the 2004 10 day Christmas cruise. Lisa (her DIS name is Little Gymnast) is the cutie right in front. BTW those of you who have seen PDFG in my signature - it stands for Pixie Dust For Garry. He's pictured on the far left in the jester hat. He just retired from the Fire Department after 24 years of service. He's on the list looking for a liver donor. Our three families boarded together as the DIS family!

Are there any AP holders that are either FL residents or will be traveling down soon?? On page 16 of the Mickey Monitor there are these coupons for free lithographs and I would really like them. If I mail them to you would you redeem them for me and send them back to me?? I will of course pay to have them sent back to me.

There is one at each of the parks and is valid from 2/14 - 3/14 but I won't be down until the end of April.

If anyone would be as so kind to do this for me, please send me a PM. I would greatly appreciate it!

Robin - yes Mark was the photographer in that picture. We did do a group shot yesterday so I'll have to get the camera unloaded.

Joanne - sadly no you cannot use your WDW AP out at Disneyland. Wish you could!

Well it is a cold one here today. Mark has to go into work for a while but I'll be staying home and doing the normal weekend work (laundry, etc.) and I also have to prepare our taxes for the accountant. Had a great day yesterday meeting up with our friends. It is amazing what these young girls can do. It was actually 5-6 meets going on at the same time. Then the awards are given by age ranges for each of these individual meets. Our friends daughter won 4 medals including a 2nd place on bars for her age group. Her gym won 1st place overall for their meet. After the meet we had a nice lunch and then said our goodbyes. They fly home to sunny Florida this afternoon.

Thanks for the info Mary, my best friends daughter is getting married June 21st in LA, So I would love to hit up Disney while there. The gymnastics meet sounds like fun.

It's going to be a gorgeous day here today. I hope to get a bike ride in and a trip to the beach.....

Just drive on over and I will do your taxes. At least the Federal. I don't know if IL has state taxes. We quit doing taxes when we moved to Franklin. Tax time is so much quieter.
