And where a blank sheet of paper is the ultimate opportunity. Meet some of today's leading visionaries as they reveal the inspirations behind Disney classics and offer a sneak peek at "what's next." Marvel at inspirational underdogs whose real-life stories illustrate the endless power of the human spirit. Learn from the experts as you tap into your inner artist and bring your own inspirations to life.

Ok I"m so glad I found this message board (hubby is too). I have learned so much and i'm only on page 114. Still a long way to go. I didn't realize that you got free stuff in your cabbin. That is wayyyy cool. Any idea on how much $$ to bring along? Can you pay for "events" before hand? I'm sure there are answers more into the posts, but I just cant wait.

Finally a theme. Maybe we will get to screen or have a premier of an upcoming movie. I just wonder who will be on board, will it be inspirational speakers or people who have overcome odds. With all the work they've been doing with extereme home makeover will ty be on the ship.

Hi Jennifer! :hippie:

I don't know if I told you, but I did the Villa last December. It was awesome! They had to pretty much pry me out of there!

Wendy

:goodvibes I didn't know you did the Spa Villa last year. I am glad you liked it. I have a feeling, they'll have to pry me out too. We are doing the Couples Choice. I haven't a clue on what it entails. Bill did all the research and booked it. All I know is, show up and enjoy. :cloud9: This cruise is so short. So, we decided to splurge. I get my "annual" massage. :cool1:

I was thinking someone from Pixar as well, that would be cool!

It would be nice to get some kind of advance type notice so we could get memorbilia. Or at the very least, stock the ship with enough items instead of 7 copy's of Dave's book like last year.

Don "Ducky" Williams would be an awesome thing. I still have the Pluto sketch that Matt won on our last member's cruise. Matt used it as a prop for his portrayal of Walt in the school's wax museum. His pose was over the top of the sketch pretending to draw it.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

I will try to get something up about the fish extenders. I am altering it slightly to accomadate the shortness of the cruise and based on suggestiong from fellow cruisers.

Hi Everybody :wave2:

I'm Frank's (MOHRT2) sister and cabinmate for the S.S. Members Cruise. This is my first time on the DISboard and I have a question:

We just got an Owner's Locker and I'm wondering if anyone here has ever taken their Owner's Locker with them on a cruise
.

Kathy - How often do you vacation and what do you keep in your locker?

Some years we are down in WDW 2, 3 or 4 times (if we're lucky!). I'm down for 4 nights before the cruise. We'll be back in January and I'll be back in May.

September will be the 1st time we use the locker. We're planning to keep our Mickey Crocs in there (since they take up so much room in the luggage!), some toiletries, suntan lotion, Mickey ponchos, stuff like that. Still trying to figure it out.

Oh I see. It sounds like a good solution for you. I wonder as well if anyone has ever taken them on a cruise. We have read a lot about people shipping things to the ship ahead of time - anyone know how to do that? We are thinking of taking water and some Coke Zero on board - they don't have Coke Zero, do they?

Hi Kathy - welcome aboard!

The only downside I would see to bringing your Owners Locker on board would be storing it. I don't think it would fit under the bed like luggage and might not fit in the closet.

Taking water or pop on board is easy. You just carry it on. Honestly we don't carry water on any more. We just bring a sports bottle and fill it up with ice and water at the drink station on deck 9. Works great!

This will be our first DVC/Disney cruise. Can anyone tell me how much it is to play bingo, and if my 5 yr. old DD can play along with me.

Welcome Aboard! Can't help with the price of bingo as I've only played it once and that was long ago. Your 5 year old can definately play along an adjust just needs to be there to claim the prize.

For info on the group check out the very first post in this thread.
