I have skimmed the last 300 or so posts, but they really havent registered....It's just so hard to get excited about this cruise....Gram passed this evening, its going to be bitter sweet for us. Sometimes I really feel life isnt fair, we should be getting ready for a cruise with her, not a wake and funeral.

I know that shes in a better place, but I just cant help but feel that she should be going with us. Its been a long weekend, and I'm exhausted, night all.

Good morning everyone - what a chatty bunch last night. I went to bed early and woke up to 6 pages to read!

Congrats to Mimi on her pirate!

As for all the "rumors" well I wouldn't even call them that. I think it has been (both this year and last) more dreams and desires based on DVC not giving any solid info other than a theme. We all put who we'd like to see. So not a rumor with any substance behind it but ones we'd love to see come true.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Today we have some little hints that can improve your stateroom life. Some of which have been covered in discussion - some not.

1. Bring an over the door shoe hanger - you can use it for shoes, but also for the little things you need like suntan lotion, sun glasses, etc.

2. If you need to use a curling iron or blow dryer you might want to bring an extension cord as the outlets are not in the best place on the desk for using one.

3. If you want a little privacy from the kids bring a few clothes pins to keep the privacy curtain closed.

4. If you have connecting rooms ask your room steward for the small blocks of wood they use to keep the doors open. The block goes in the upper part of the door by the closer and keeps it open. Easy to remove if you want to close them at night.

5. If you get a sewer smell in your bathroom it is easy to cure yourself by pouring a cup or two of water down the drain behind the toilet (we've never experienced it but have read about the smell on the DIS).

6. If you have a family that makes it own smells you might want to bring an air freshener for the bathroom.

7. After you unpack it is easy to store you luggage out of sight under your bed. If you lift the corner of the bed half of it will come up easily to slide the luggage up.

8. Post-it notes or a small wipe board inside the cabin helps you keep track of other family members.

DS just went to go out to the bus and came back with the package. It was inside the door. It is not even 8AM! WOW...that's some early delivery service. The envelope says UPS, but Brown doesn't come into my neighborhood until well after 2PM.....

Tina Sorry about your loss we are all thinking of you.
Yesterday was a bad day for us . Yesterday afternoon we got a call from our oldest son. He had received a call from the collage where his son our grands son attends that while he was mowing lawns for the collage as part of a work project he accidently severed his big toe while mowing. He had surgery on it last night. They couldn't attach it so he is without a big toe. So there goes his football for this year. The coach tells him they make a special shoe so he might be able to play next year. He is one heartbroken kid. The school is resposible so we will see what happens.
Yes Mary and Joan you saw the picture I sent of him. I hope thats not his last game.
Well enough of that Nancy and I are getting ready to go for a walk then come back and work on packing. Boy time is just flying by.
