Thanks! Bear will be in the button bag at the port so I figured people should know why a 51 year old woman carries a stuffed bear on the ship with her. :dogdance:

For one of our anniversaries, Mack and I went to Build a Bear and each made an animal that resembles us. We dressed "ourselves" in clothes that match our personalities. Now whenever one of us travels without the other, we take the corresponding bear (actually Little Mimi is a rabbit) and leaves the other with the person staying home. In other words, when I went to the beach with my friend, I took Little Mack and left Little Mimi here with him. We try to get a picture whenever the Littles travel as well.

I love your story! Bear is very special!

Hey everyone! Posting for the first time today and you guys have been busy! Last night we celebrated our anniversary with a Key Lime cake (made me think DIS and DCL!!!). YuM!:goodvibes

I started going through my clothes this morning. I have almost everything I need, which is good. I was surprised that 3 of my outfits fit still! Yeah for me!;) DH has everything, so nothing we need to buy for him. Still need to organize the misc. things we bring and see what I need to get. So I will definitely be doing a walmart or target run sometime this week.

We plan to see one movie at least, and I vote for Prince Caspian! Haven't seen it yet. And I really want to!

Question: if there are more adults than families, why would late seating be less full? I figure more couples/adults do second seating.

Good news about lunch at Serenity Bay! We plan to do one day at Serenity bay and one at the family beach. Probably not whole days though......

i am too excited! This time next week we will be on the ship!!!!!:boat:

So, if Tikimimi and Tikimack will be together on the cruise, where will Little Mimi and Little Mack be? Do they get to go on vacation too?

Exactly one week from now we will be wrapping up our meet in the Promenade Lounge!:woohoo:

They will be at home together keeping things for us here till we return! And yes, let's figure out how to teach the pirates to jum - of course, we might need to give them legs first.

oh. good point.

Some cruises we never watch any movies because they conflict with other things. Other times we have watched a couple. I think on our April cruise we ended up watching 3 of them.

I remember back on our first Member Cruise back in 2003 we opted to stay on the ship the first morning at CC to take a tour of the ship by an Imagineer (awesome) and see Treasure Planet. We got out in time for lunch on the island and some relaxing time in our lounge chairs on the family beach. This was in February and we weren't going in the water. A little too cold for our taste.

Plus many of us have sailed DCL before and will skip some of the regular nighttime shows in favor of some down time like a movie. Now the special shows I won't be skipping at all!

I just did that on the 5 night Magic. Knew I would be on the Wonder next week, so I went to movies each night instead of the shows! First time I never stepped into the Walt Disney Theater for a whole cruise!

But, I won't be missing the shows on this cruise. I am real excited to see Toy Story! I've heard great reviews. Clayton (aka Hollywood) said it is terrific.

I'm working today, just popped on the boards for 2 seconds.

One week from today, right now....life boat drill.........

:woohoo:

Alot of people like the main seating, the 8 p.m. is too late for them to eat.

For lunch at Serenity Bay on September 2nd they had:

BBQ Ribs
Mah-Mahi
Steak
Hamburgers
Hot Dogs
Bratwurst (I think)
Chicken

Now, is anyone hungry?

:thumbsup2

Linda, Can you tell us when the pirate party was. I know they were testing to see if earlier was better. Did they move it back to after dinner?

Thanks for the reminder Linda. I'm looking forward to seeing the new Toy Story show as well!

Or, if you don't like those, you could have a bunny with a pancake on his head.

Wow, i always wondered what a bunny with a pancake on his head would look like. Where do you guys get all this cool stuff?

See and you all thought you would only learn about DVC Member Cruises. :lmao:
