On my way home tonight I offered to stop and pick up my son's 2 prescriptions. He said not to worry about getting the pain meds cuz he thought they'd be expensive. We had gotten the antibiotic Bactrim on Friday and it was free! The pharmacy asked if I had his insurance card and I told her he didn't have insurance. (dumb @ss) She said she didn't want to tell me how much the pills were. His pain meds were $22 - ok, the antibiotic was $187.42 for 10 pills!

The irony is that the cost of the medication to get him well....
makes you sick

I read an article once that made me really sick. It was the incredible mark ups they do on the meds. I mean....they can charge $10 for a pill that costs about 10 cents to make. It's just a joke how much everything costs in the medical field.

Yes Debbie is the bomb! I am also psyched to be able to soon say we've done both Remy and Palo on the Dream, with the bestest of company

I had real adult food for dinner tonight ... Ravioli with a mushroom sauce!

(first real food in 2 weeks! )

I bet that was THE BEST Ravioli with mushroom sauce you've ever had, too!
