Actually our choices are the 687 Sports Bar or the District Lounge which is out in the open. Now 687 is definitely an option for us Football fans since I am sure there will be football games that afternoon that some of us will want to see?

If there is a Season I already had to pay for my parking for the whole season even if there are no games

Attention my DISPeeps:

I received this a short time ago and was asked to post it here

I’ve been missing chatting with all of you! Thanks for the caring messages, I didn’t mean to worry any of you. We are supposed to have internet here, but the ‘long distance’ antenna is apparently broken. So I must go sit in the clubhouse to get anything. About all I can do is get email. Once I was able to get onto the DIS, before it crashed. It seems email works fairly reliable, but web pages are very unreliable. Supposedly they are working on the antenna and switching service providers, so maybe it will get better.

Laran and I have been in MI for a month, where she has been taking swim lessons. She has gotten to the point to where she can dog paddle on her own with the aid of a two float belt. The belts come with one, two and three floats. So I expect you’ll see her in the pool on the Dream soon. Lara spent one week here with us and several weekends. We’ve had great weather and managed to dodge the wrath of the stronger storms.

We are all fine and looking forward to catching up on the DISboards and meeting everone on the cruise,

I got your PM and added you to the list

I think you may find one or two others who are from your area on this thread... If you look at the list you will also see there will be a bunch of us staying at either AKL or AKV so hopefully we will get a chance to meet there before anything else.

We will be having a land-meet the night before the cruise. Unless someone gives me an alternative that we can agree upon, it will be at the Boardwalk. Right now there is nothing really planned during the meet except to go with the flow, lol.

I hope that you decide to join in on our "Inside Out Group" here on this thread. We love to chat and run up the post count so that we can set a record for the most threads for a cruise

As do I! I must admit, I honestly was thinking the worst at this point. John was never one to disappear for any amount of time, even when he was on the other side of the pond LOL

That is so good to hear!

In many ways, this is like having an online family. (not that I don't have real family here ... ) When we don't hear from some members in a while, it makes us worry that something happened. It is a relief to know that all is good with John and his family!

I just happened upon the DVC Members Cruise DIS board and thought I'd join. My hubby & I are sailing with you - this will be our 2nd DVC members cruise.

We're sailing w/o the kids this time, so it will be nice to make some new friends while onboard the Dream. Are there any other Hoosiers sailing with us?

Hi Amy and to the DIS and aboard! You will find a great bunch of people on here. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Please feel free to jump in or comment on any posts you see. There are conversations between anyone here that exclude anyone else and it is our way of getting to know one another Page one of the thread has lots of info but feel free to ask any questions. There will be a DISmeet the day we board at 3pm on the ship at Club 687 (deck 4 aft) so you can put names to faces and meet your new friends in person. I believe there is also a DISmeet pre cruise at BWV (Boardwalk villas). Andy (Carmouse) had the deets on that one. Also, the majority of us are going to meet up after the cruise, Friday night, I think at BLT (Bay Lake Towers) to watch fireworks from TOTWL (top of the world lounge).
