Ok - I just saw a commercial for washing machine cleaner. Tell me - how would the washing machine get dirty. You'd have to have really dirty clothes.

We have to clean our washer regularly. That's a problem with front loaders, especially if you use liquid detergent. Powder is best. We have to drain the drum, wipe out the seals and then I run a couple of loads on the sanitizer cycle with bleach and drain the drum again between washes.
