In the warmer weather, both of them spend more time in that hammock than anyone else. As small as they are, they manage to jump up on it without getting flipped off and then just stretch out and sun themselves.

Nice!! I have a hammock, but not a stand. I was going to put up posts and hang it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I just have Belle, my cat, at the moment. But I really do miss my dog, Holly. She was a shepherd/collie mix. Finally had to put her down with health problems at almost 14 yrs. old. Dustin has been talking about wanting a dog again, but I don't think now is a good time.

Well, we don't have any trees. So, it's sink posts or get a stand. I think I'm just going to go with a stand at this point.

Have them build it and then sleep in it that night and they would get their construction and camping badges at the same time

You live in Oregon. There are trees everywhere. Heck, I think even the bathroom stalls have trees growing in them there.

That is craziness! I live in NEW YORK and even I have TREES!!!

But, I only have them to boss around for another 4 years. I'm thinking long term here.

That's me too! The people who had this house before us apparently cut down all of the trees except for one because they had a pool. But all of the neighbors trees are huge!

Well, all my neighbors have trees. So, we just enjoy them. And if one of their trees falls on my house, their insurance can take care of it. See, I think long term!
