For anybody who has been on a member cruise before, is there a formal dress night?

Good question. This will be my 1st member cruise.

Because it's only a four-day cruise, there really isn't a formal night. We just usually dress up for the night we are in the more formal restaurant.

Here comes another BIG thunderstorm!!

Those are becoming a daily thing here in NW Indiana. It seems like every time I look on Weather.com, there's a big red outline with the words "Severe Thunderstorms". And of course, there are flood warnings, too. Hope you stay safe and your property doesn't get any damage from tonight's big thunderstorm.

It's ok...had a crazy morning at the little league field...went to a Scentsy party (fundraiser for my kids' Summer Camp), went grocery shopping, cleaned house & did some laundry, and now I'm going back and forth between the DISboards and working on FE gifts.

How about you?

Has anyone heard of Scentsy? They are plug in wickless candles. OMG...some of the scents I smelled were just amazing!!!! I ordered three different scents: Lucky In Love, Sweet Pea & Vanilla and Clove & Cinnamon. Can't wait to have my house smelling like Sweet Pea & Vanilla!!!!

Ok, we are starting to get close... Down to double digits now... That can only mean...

It looks like everyone's plans are finally finalized!!! that means one thing....VACATION TIME IS GETTING CLOSER!!!!!!!!

Had lunch with our oldest son and his girlfriend today.

Went over to youngest son's and DIL and had supper tonight.

That's nice!!! I always enjoy time with my mom and my brothers & sister. It doesn't happen as often as I would like though. I hope the food was as good as the company!

Two years ago today I rescued a mini-pinscher from being put down. I was spending quality time with my little girl and telling her how happy I am that she became a part of my family two years ago. I know it is sappy, but I am nothing if not honest...

I'm so glad so many of us on here are such big animal lovers as well as Disney lovers!!!!!

We rescued a stray cat thirteen years ago. We took him to the vet to have him checked out and by the time we got home, the vet was leaving a message on our answering machine that the cat tested positive to feline leukemia and we should bring him back and put him to sleep. He had upper respiratory infection and they had given us some medicine for him, so we told them we wanted to see if he was healthy enough to recover from the infection and if so we were not going to put him to sleep. He's sitting here on my lap as I type, and he's the most affectionate cat I've ever known. I'm so glad we decided to go against the vet's recommendation!

Let's sum this up. The pups want to get inside the nice warm house and their beloved owner wants them to play outside in the cold and snow. On this day the dogs seemed smarter than the owner.

I think the third night was a semi-formal night. The way I look at it is this: it's your vacation...you can make it as formal or as informal as you want. You could get all dressed up and use that as an opportunity to get really nice family pictures by the professional photographers.

I love my scentsy! I have one in the kitchen right now that smell just like a nice rain. I have one in the main bathroom too.

Sometimes you just have to go with your gut. Glad it worked out.

In the warmer weather, both of them spend more time in that hammock than anyone else. As small as they are, they manage to jump up on it without getting flipped off and then just stretch out and sun themselves.

My son Bob's dog is named Bella, and she was a rescue (sort of) from a friend who didn't want her. Only she is just slightly larger than your Bella - she is a pit bull, but the most gentle thing you've ever seen in such a big dog.
