That happens to me too

It's terrible. But, good as well. I once really really wanted to get an African Grey Parrot. I researched it to death and finally decided that I wasn't sure I wanted to have an intelligent creature with the mindset of a two year old for the rest of my life.

I compromised. I did turn it on and pre-ordered the new Nalini Singh book which is released today (been waiting on pins and needles) and then turned it off

I'd really like a Kindle or an iPad2 to read books on. But, I've been saving money by using the library a lot. I've already bought a few books to read on my iPhone Kindle app. If I had something full sized, I'd break the budget.

Ok Wally, you win! I was looking at trulia.com and found a couple houses down the street from you with some outrageous property taxes. One was over $5000 and the other over $8000! That is very expensive considering the purchase price for those are in the $300,000 range! But still there is no snow and I would gladly pay to not have to mess with it anymore!

I would want the fancy hand crank railway in my yard. Something tells me that the city golf course would have a fit though. That or my neighborhood association.

Passports, what a process! It was quite the day...

I know technically we only need BC's for the cruise, but in case of an emergency, I'd rather be safe than sorry and have a plan to have our passports handy.
(Sorry if I'm really chatty today,

my DH made some really good coffee, thought I'd share what we went through today)

With a family of four, it has been quite the adventure. I was trying to save $$ by taking our own passport pics. I had done the research at the US passport website to make sure the pics were done by their specifications. I took pics of each of us at home, with a white background and color pics per US specs, went to CVS pharmacy to print them out, then the manager took a look at our pics and said they weren't to spec.

So he said they have passport picture services and that he would give us a discount. So he took our pics (CVS had a special outline on their camera for passport photos) and instead of charging us $40.00 for a family of four, he only charged us $25.00.

At the passport office, it would've been $60.00 for the four of us, so we actually saved $35.00

On the way to apply for the passports, my DD's were doing the 20?'s, like, "Is it going to be warm or cold? Are we going to another country? Wait, we need passports to go to another country, so we must be flying...I need to pack the right clothes!!!" on and on and on...... By this time my DH is jumping out of his skin. He is HORRIBLE at keeping secrets (surprises) from our DD's.

So this is me...

and this is our DD's...

I fianlly told them, that, there is a place to sleep, food to eat, and a place to take a shower.

We filled out our applications without any problems, we'll know in about 6 weeks if we missed anything.

Hi TERRIE!!! If you get a chance compare cost of living of FLORIDA with HERE! Niagara on the lake ONTARIO CANADA. If you cant find that try NIAGARA FALLS. Just curious. We dont get Hurricanes etc.

OMG!!! That's too funny I also researched myself out of getting an African Grey too! And also out of a sugar glider and also a skunk

Mine was a present from my mom and I gotta say I abso love it! I don't know if I ever would have bought it for myself but now I don't know how I lived without it
