I don't know if I said this before. I saw a very good movie starring Andy Garcia called "The Lost City" and it was about a club owner dealing with the change from Batista to Castro. I highly recommend that to you or anyone else who hasn't seen it. I watched that and a Castro documentary back to back and gained a lot of insight. I still don't know why people here in America hold Che Guivara in such high regard. I'm just glad that your grandparents decided to make the trip.

Oh, I haven't seen that one. I will have to check it out. Ignorance about Che is part of it I think or seeing this romanticized version of him as simply a symbol of rebellion as opposed to a sadistic murderer.
