OK , We were with friends tonite and I mentioned about how Terrie and Wally were going to Chicago for a Dis meet. Our friends told us that Chicago is a great city for Shopping. Sooooooooo can someone fill me in on all the details about that weekend. Laura was keen on the Idea for shopping If we dont have a Lawnbowling Tournment that weekend and she can get off work at the hospital and we can get flights and somewhere to stay etc, we might be able to make it. But we have never been and wouldnt know what to do once we got our bags at Airport. Can someone help with the details Please

The main shopping area is actually several city blocks of Michigan Ave. There are major stores that have their own building like Disney Store, Apple, NikeTown, Crate & Barel, etc. There is a lot of walking involved and if your going there for shopping, you need to stay close to or on Michigan Ave on the north side of the river.

A river tour was discussed as a possibility which Myself and Deb really want to do and we all will also meet for dinner. No plans are definite yet though.
