That is funny! We Potters had a 3 way conference call to figure out all ours for pre and post cruise!! ( I think it took like an hour!):lmao: Maybe by that time the GIGANTIC pile of snow will be gone from our cul-de-sac! :rotfl2:

 The Potter family sounds like another family I know. They are on the DIS, too. They rent my DVC points from time to time. There are 7 in their family and they have big family meetings to discuss when they want to go to WDW and where they want to stay.

When we bring extended family to WDW, it's like pulling teeth just to get them on a regular phone call, let alone have a conference call or even a family meeting! :lmao:

I saw a front loader breaking up a big pile of snow in the Wal Mart parking lot today. Maybe you could do that to your big pile of snow if it's not gone soon! :thumbsup2

Hi everybody! We just got back from Reno. It was nice to get away for a few days but it's good to be home and see the doggies. I was looking at the Sept calendar for park hours and notice they have MK closing at 7pm on 9/23 so I'm guessing that MNSSHP will be that nite. Anyone going? I'm trying to figure our dinning resv post cruise.

I almost forgot to brag to you guys!!! My DD-7 brought home all A's & B's on her report card!!!!!! (I cried!!!!!) :yay:  :yay:

I don't remember if I posted on here but she's was in a self contained special needs class for Kindergarten & First grade. She was also in a special needs pre-school. She was diagnosed with ADHD but *I* think she has Asperger's Syndrome (it's on the Autism spectrum). Anyway, I begged with NISEC (the special ed program through our county) to put her in a regular classroom for the last two school years. This year I demanded it and wouldn't you know, she's on the honor roll!!! Goes to show how much those NISEC people know!!!!

We weren't really planning on going, but if all the cool kids are going, then we might have to give in to peer pressure! :rotfl2:

I know I already mentioned it on Facebook, but congrats to Emilee again!! You should be very proud. I know how hard you work with her. I am sure she is doing a tremendous job and putting forth so much effort in the gen. ed. classroom. Good for her. As a special education teacher, it is always such a nice feeling when my students are mainstreamed full time into gen. ed. That is my goal, first and foremost. I always tell parents...sometimes it just takes a smaller class size and some individual attention to give the kids a "push" in the right direction.

As far as Asperger's....you may be right. I am finding that a lot more in my students these days. It is very common. Especially the past 5-6 years. Good for you for insisting Emilee be in gen. ed this year too. You know your child best and if you are committed to helping her succeed then you should be commended!! Way to go!!! Anytime you want to ask for my opinion or need somebody to talk to, let me know. I would be more than happy to help offer assistance....if I can. By the way......Saturday sounds good for Spaghetti Warehouse!!! :cool1:

I'll have to tell you all about Emilee's special needs teacher she had the last two school years.
