Ha ha, just make sure Junior doesn't stop by for brunch! With a big plow truck and his recent track record without sleep, is no match for a snow blower.

About 45 degrees and overcast (which is pretty common around here). Supposed to be into the 50's later this week, one day with some showers. I think Laran and I will take a little walk soon. We are on the edge of their City Center, so there are plenty of parks, botique shops, pubs, etc.

We only got about 14" here but the drifting is pretty bad in spots. Our poor dogs are very happy. DH keeps shoveling a small path for them but they still don't want to go out.

Oh my gosh! It's hard to tell, but that looks like 3 or 4 feet of snow! Those dogs have absolutely no appreciation for your husband's efforts. Have they gone outside yet?

Gosh, you guys get a little bad weather and suddenly get all chatty again! No snow here. But, it was below freezing last night. My house isn't insulated well, so it's been pretty chilly.

This darn blizzard is making me miss Whoopi's trip on the DREAM. The View isn't on TV because it is continuing news coverage of the BLIZZARD of 2011!! Anyone else watching The View??? I am sad.

Well, in my town....17 inches of snow with drifts up to 6 feet. Roads are NOT plowed, couldn't get to work if I wanted to. Chicago is up to 21 inches and counting. Snow is blowing like crazy and it is freezing. Visability is finally up to 3 miles but still have 40 MPH winds. One fatality so far, which is pretty good.

Will post pics later. Hope everyone is staying safe and staying home. Good luck Junior, the Lesnik's are thinking of you. Glad to hear you are okay!!

My dog did the same thing. First she went out there and stepped into the snow and got stuck. I think she just kind of went into shock and didn't quite know what to do so she just stood there until I moved her.

I hope your dogs go out soon because A. They need to go do their "doo-tee"
and B. You worked so hard to clear a spot for them!
