Another question I have for the group is......

Does anyone here use the fitness facilities onboard? This will only be our 2nd cruise (first was SSMC09) and I did not participate in any 'adult area' activities the last time.

Not a big deal since it was our first cruise and the kids had to get aclimated. Okay, it was really only DD that hung out with me. DS closed his club every night. And then he WONDERed why he was not in any of the character pictures. :confused3

But, concerning the fitness club. I was just wondering if anyone here plans to use the facilities or the walking track or anything along those lines.

It seems we have the eating, drinking , and overall partying activities planned. Just wondering if anyone has any :yay: plans? I would like to find time to check it out and I am thinking that I may be more motivated to actually make it there if others were going? :lmao: Although after a late night, not sure what time I will be getting up in the morning.

Maybe before the morning Sunrise Club. What time would that be??

I plan on using it. This will be our second cruise. I used it each day on our first cruise and there was always other people in there during the mornings
7a-9a.:yay: Plus for the guys, the locker room and shower facilities were great. That is what I used so my wife had total use of the stateroom shower. I am guessing that the fitness center is larger than the Wonder since the Dream is a larger ship. I am sure others will be using it as well.:thumbsup2

HMMMM, LETS SEE I GET MY MORNING COFFEE AROUND 7am, STOP BY THE SUE AND THE COFFEE CLUB:cool1: THEN WALK AROUND THE TOP DECK, GRAB MY DRINK HOLDER. GET A CONK COOLER, I THINK I COULD PULL UP A DECK CHAIR INFRONT OF THE EXERCISE ROOM AND WATCH. LIFT MY DRINK UP DOWN UP DOWN UP DOWN ALL GONE:rotfl2: BACK TO THE ADULT POOL DO MY LAPS AROUND THE POOL STOOLS IN THE WATER NEAR THE BAR.:worship:

I am sorry but I must disagree with one point, the candles. I enjoy a nice romantic candlelight situation as much as anyone else. I do not enjoy an accidental fire during a power failure which has overloaded telephone circuits, thus slowing the initial call and dispatch, then trying to make my way through two foot of snow with every piece of equipment and all personnel which includes trying to find and connect to a fire hydrant and running the hoses all over the place. It gets even better when the water hits the ground and suddenly we are all dancing on ice.

I hate to be a spoil-sport but I would hate to miss out on getting to know you all that much more.

Best of luck with the storm, get the shopping and stuff out of the way early as mentioned and don't forget to get milk for your coffee. :lmao:

Andy - - -Not a problem at all. I am really looking forward to meeting you. I totally get your point. I was thinking of tea lights, the kind that go inside of a small lamp and can be used to heat a small dish. NOT candles for lighting. Hopefully you don't have to dancing on ice with the turnout gear on ... Stay safe and most of all, when you are on duty, stay BORED! (Excitement in your line of work is not a magical thing! {that is my best wish for all emergency services workers})

Any weather reports from the mid west snow region?
Snowing here in Wisconsin ... light snow started about 6 this morning .... took the snowblower out about 3 this afternoon and moved about 2 inches off the sidewalks, and driveways .... went about three houses in each direction on the sidewalks. It's still snowing... The weatherman and his evil minions (is there such a thing as GOOD minion? :confused3) make these giant snow messes in my yard, driveway and sidewalks. Do they bother to even offer to HELP clean those messes up? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Would the munch-kins from Wizard of Oz be good minions? Or how about the 7 dwarfs? I know I would just feel better thinking that there are good minions.
I also wonder who cleans the weather guys driveway yard and sidewalks.:confused3

Is it a bad sign that we have major drifting _before_ it really starts snowing? :confused3

Did I mention how much I hate snow and ice? We are pretty much getting ice right now. Could get up to an inch of ice!:scared1:

Then we could get 10" of snow. :scared1::scared1::scared1: All of that with 45 mile an hour winds. :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

I am so done with winter already. Bring on spring some one please shoot the groundhog! :wizard:
