148 Days, can't wait can't wait can't wait........

Wally Terrie Milford lets goooooooo nowwwwwww

I wish Junior & I could join you guys!!!!

I think the big group picture takes place the second day at Castaway Cay at 10:30 am. So, all you Parrotheads that are planning this big get together might want to keep that in mind when trying to coordinate a time to start your island party. :thumbsup2

All this sub zero wind chill weather and frozen snow on the ground and chaos of getting ready for Christmas is making me wish I was on the cruise right now! :lmao: I soooo cannot wait!!! But, Christmas planning has put my FE gift planning on hold!!! :scared1: :rotfl2:

Well, I've had an incredibly long day. Went in to work at 7:00 am, worked for a few hours, then went shopping for about four hours. (Can't even remember the last time I was able to do that....I think it's been about 12 years) Then I came home, wrapped some presents and baked some cookies. So, I think I'm gonna go have a family movie night with the kids. :goodvibes

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO LAUREN (DD of FaithTrusnPixieDust) (12/17)

Ok, there's NO way I can catch up on all the posts from the last three weeks. LOL But, we are home and I finally finished unpacking. So, now it's time to throw myself in on planning our WDW/DCL B2B trip! :cool1:

Aside from my whiny and surly 16 year old, it was a good trip. He said that 7 days was too long for Disneyland (we also did Universal Hollywood and Knotts Berry Farm). I think he's cracked. The DH and I are considering leaving him home next September, but he swears up and down that he won't be bored at WDW because there is more to do. *sigh* I swear, if we do take him and he starts whining, I'm putting him on a plane home and he can sit on his backside at Grandma's house. Grrrr!!!

KAREN!!!!! :welcome:

Welcome back! I have been looking for you to post the last couple of days so we could find out how the trip went. I am glad you had a good trip and I have to agree with the 16 year old, the 'Land gets a bit old after a couple of days, the 'World stays fresh for weeks!

Bring him along, and when the SSMC starts, lemme know if he is behaving or if he gets whiney, I am bringing my own heavy duty duct tape with me. :rotfl2:

The time at CC on our cruise was disembark started at 8:15a with the cc5k starting at 8:30 and power walk at 9:30a. We did the power walk which puts you at the adult beach for the 2 for 1 bloody marys. I believe you needed to leave cc by 4pm.

When we were there the end of October they had bloody marys 2 for 1 from 10a-12n at the adult beach. My first one at 10a went down real good. I was thinking the time for Parrotheads could be 11a-1p and then we are right there for lunch. I think the adult beach has at least one drink priced 2 for one the whole time we were there.

Mike, were you one of the first ones off the ship? I wonder if it takes them longer to set up our DVC stuff, because I don't think we were able to get off that early on the SSMC. I may be wrong, because I slept in. Maybe those who got off first could help? Ian maybe?

I wonder if we were to hold it on both days at Castaway Cay, if we would be able to capture those doing excursions on at least one day? How about the Truffles?

Ha ha ha ... You answered my question at the same minute I asked ... If great minds think alike, I guess the reverse applies to us ;)

Now I'm starting to question if I have the times right from our SSMC 2010.

We got off the ship about 9:20a to do the 9:30a power walk. Had breakfast in the room so we did not have to rush. I watched us dock about 7a from our veranda. Sailing in was really cool to see.

I was going to scan the rest of my navigators (Yeah, I know I was also going to get off this computer a little bit ago, too! :lmao:). BUT my scanner isn't working. :headache:

On the 2010 Member Cruise, the first CC day we were able to get off the ship at around 10:00 a.m. All aboard was at 5:00 p.m. The second CC day we were able to get off the ship at around 8:30 a.m., All aboard was also at 5:00 p.m.

I'll scan the navigators and post them on here as soon as my dear husband fixes it. :thumbsup2

Thank you Debbie!

My scanner won't work because Windows Vista is not supported on it (old scanner). You haven't changed operating systems lately, have you?

HERES A PHOTO OF LAURA AND ME ARRIVING ON THE TOP DECK ON FIRST DAY. SEE THEY KNEW I WAS COMING:rotfl2:

Ian, you're getting pretty good with the special effects!

Who's the guy at the bar, or why did you put a light bulb over his head?

DONT KNOW THE GUY AT THE BAR BUT I THOUGHT HE HAD A GOOD IDEA. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS DRINK LIQUIDS ON HOT DAY TO KEEP FROM DEHYDRATING:worship:

No, we were supposed to have two hard drives running....one was supposed to mirror the other. It was supposed to copy it once a week. We were almost out of space, so Jr bought two new hard drives (to double the space that we had). When he started to put the new hard drives in, he found out the back up system hadn't been backing up. :confused3 Then he couldn't recover anything on the other hard drive. Thankfully my brother works for a computer technology company and between him and a co-worker they were able to recover all of our stuff. But, now we are slowly realizing there are different programs that we need to re-install. The scanning program was one of them. :upsidedow
