Since we've never been to Epcot, or WDW, or Florida......It would be great to see the IF @ Epcot.

Jennifer, actually Sue (clayfolks) is running this show I'm just helping her out a little, when she's at work.

As near as I can tell, until Sue has a chance to contact WDW for details, the first boat is full, as long as everyone in it stays onboard (little play on words there)

But I figure we can fill up two of these 10 (to 12?) passenger boats, and have the Captains tie along side each other for the fireworks show. Sound Good?

I was wondering if it was just cold, or if there were no passengers onboard since I couldn't see anything but seagulls in a previous post. This answers both question. Love the Mickey Snowman!

If Wally is right we may be able to fit us all on one boat, figuring we have 10 1/2 in total. I think the website said 10 people, but Laran will only be 4 years old at the time.

Now, is there any interest in starting a second boat? We are looking at Sept 22nd (debarkation day from the Dream), viewing the Illuminations Fireworks show at EPCOT.

I hope Sue doesn't mind me filling up her boats. If we can get a second boat we have:

Hi Jennifer and Lynn! I talked to the WDW tours people today. We can only get 10 people in each boat, and I think with your families added in we are almost full on 2 boats already. I talked to lpotter a little while ago and she and Jim will bring our total number up to 19. We can make our reservations on March 20. The CM I talked to said I would be allowed to reserve more than 1 boat at that time, but that it might be a good idea to have a couple people call in order to do everything we can to assure we get what we want since there are only 4 boats that do the Illuminations cruise. Payment is not required at the time of booking, only a credit card to reserve.

I don't think I will be able to help book the boats because I'll either be out of the country (where I won't have cell phone coverage w/o switching to an international plan), or hopefully, have the job I interviewed for (where they don't allow cell phones in the building). I'll keep you posted on that front.

I can only walk on water a certain times of of year and in limited places (January on Lake Winnebago for example ... ) September in Florida, sadly, is not the right time or place ...

Hi John! The Potters don't need/want to all be together. We will be together ALOT during that week and we all enjoy being with other people too.

Why don't we wait a while before we toss Laran overboard?? The worst that happens is that it costs each of us a few bucks extra.

Well, I intended to start teaching Laran to swim late this summer, but never got caught up enough ... so it might be a good time for her to learn.

Lara will be taking us to the UK for three months (she will be working there where her company is based). Laran and I will stay as long as I don't land a job somewhere. I won't be allowed to earn money while there, to protect their national workforce (unless for a skill that is scarce within country).

As for seating arrangements.. We are perfectly fine not being with the rest of the Potter clan.. Love them to death.. but really at that point, after um almost gulp a half century with my brothers, I am fine with others (As they are also I am sure!! )

Hey that's great. Yes, that would be very cool. Are you talking England? We will be in Derby, England during the weekdays, but will have a car and could drive somewhere on the weekends. From mid-Jan to mid-April.

And being able to talk with someone who doesn't speak the Queen's English! I'm sure I'll be tired of it by then.

Why only one of you? I'm sure it's for work, but that much time would be great to enjoy together, if at all possible.
