I love reading trip reports sometimes. Some are excellent in the way they are written, while others lose my interest rather quickly. If you are one of those who likes to read them, don't you hate when they start out funny, insightful, and quite detailed and then they

Hi Friends. :)

Lilly did just great yesterday!! She came through the surgery fine....it was the coming down of the anestesia (SP??) that was a problem. She is such a little pistol....she did NOT like having an IV in her hand at all. She was trying to pull it out, screaming, and hitting all the nurses. It was embarrassing and heart-wrenching at the same time. She has a small wrap around her right hand and a few stitches. The wrap stays on for a few more days and stitches for a couple of weeks. Something funny though, she was given a "cocktail" before taking her back into surgery, and she was hilarious. She was smiling at the ceiling, babbling, and laughing. It was cute to watch. If Lilly ever chooses to drink in her future....when she is oh, let's see, 35, I know she will be a "happy drunk"!!! Just like her mommy.

Thanks for all the support, prayers, thoughts, and personal stories. They helped a lot. Can't wait to meet everyone!! By the way, I will post some pics from yesterday's "cocktail time"!!!

Kelly, Jim, and Lilly:thumbsup2

Thanks for updating us. Glad she is doing so well. I just saw the pictures and she is precious :cutie:

Did you get distracted Dan, or are you writing something ... what's the word ... abstract?

I'm might not be able to post here much until after Thanksgiving, so an early Happy Thanksgiving to all (except our Canadian friends, then I think it's Happy Canada Day?).

Nope, not Canada Day ... Oh well ... Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

Will you be working? If I remember correctly there was a job interview not that long ago?
Nancy

Nope, not the job. No word on it yet, plus it would take several months of paperwork before even starting.

Vacation, this time, to the southern Caribbean on Princess. We are using this as our 10th anniversary (although over a month early). No kid on this one, just me and my lovely bride. She will have to spend time with me now, right? ;)

So glad to hear she did well! I was thinking of her all day yesterday and was going to ask for an update today and came on to find one already here! :goodvibes One of my boys had to have an MRI when he was about two. They gave him one of those cocktails too. He was a riot. At one point he lifted his hand up to point at something and then froze and stared at his own hand. Then he started wagging his fingers around and waving his hand slowly in front of his face, looking completely enthralled the whole time. My DH and I were laughing so hard the nurses came in and they started laughing too. :rotfl2:

As part of the gaming this group enjoys, I'll guess 7566 and 7568.
Unless DizDays are one of the couples, but not likely because they're from Chicago.
They will be your next door neighbors though (they are in Room 7572).

I still think your friends will be amazed at how may people you know on their cruise! :rotfl2:

I will let you know soon what their room numbers are. Can't wait to meet my new disney neighbors.
I cannot wait to make friends with everyone here and meet on the ship to say hello. Way too cool. Love making new friends and chatting with them.
