So, what was your favorite Food and Wine Festival thing?

Everything was awesome, except for the reservation "issue" for Party for the Senses. Just being able to eat/drink around the world in a 1 mile walking area. I definitely gained a few pounds while we were there. We also got to me Stacey/George & Family and Dan/Sue. It was GREAT.

We actually have today off, but have work tomorrow :confused3
Do the boys have off tomorrow too, or is it back to school?

Well, my boys are homeschooled ... and I'm mean ... so they have school tomorrow. But they also have two weeks off coming up after Thanksgiving for our Disneyland trip. :goodvibes

Their public school buddies don't have school, but it's not because of the holiday. It's one of the "budget reduction days" this year.

That stinks that they messed up your reservation!! YOU gained a few pounds? No way! The meet up sounds like it was fun! It made for some great pics too!

I know, that's why I asked about your "school" policy.
Wow, 2 weeks off; You should run our school board :thumbsup2

Have you been? You should really go there if you haven't experienced it.

We went in 2008. LOVED it! I didn't do any "events", just ate around the world. But, the DH did the beer tasting (free) while the boys, mom and I did the American Adventure. The boys were exhausted and both promptly fell asleep. Which I found hilarious at their age. But, mom and I enjoyed the show. :thumbsup2

Yes, it was a huge letdown; but Terrie & I made a night out of it anyways. I promised Terrie we would sign up for it next year. :thumbsup2

It was great meeting everyone. Makes me more eager about the cruise.

It's funny but we've been by the American Adventure so many times, including the backstage area, and have YET to sit in the show. :rotfl:

LOL!! Best thing about homeschooling is vacationing during the off season!! Gotta love Disney with no lines! Although, I'm expecting crowds at Disneyland during the weekend days. Especially during the two days they do the Candlelight Processional. I'm not sure yet whether we'll try to see it or not. I don't know if we want to camp out all day on Main Street to see it. It may come down to who is narrating! Which HASN'T been announced YET! :headache:

We had planned on doing the party the year we went, but they didn't end up having it on the first weekend of Food and Wine that year. They ran some competition instead. I was bummed! But, we had a good time anyway!

I really enjoyed it. And the Voices of Liberty were AWESOME!! I teared up listening to them.

That's usually the times that we go (offseason). The candlelight processional is great. Best thing to do is get a dinner/show package; so you can get into the processional via reserved seating. :thumbsup2

I'm surprised they havent announced it yet. They had WDW listed months ago.

They only do it on two nights at Disneyland. And it's right on Main Street. Last year they didn't do dinner packages. Except some some CRAZY expensive package only available to D23 members. It was NOT worth the price they were asking. Disneyland always seems to wait until the last moment to announce things. Makes me nuts.

We're seeing it with Whoopi Goldberg this year.
