I will assemble all your names, put them in an email, and send it to her. Then she would almost certainly have to at least introduce herself, right? Peer pressure, ya know. I think it might work.

The kids had school today? I don't think we've ever lived anywhere that the kids weren't off school on Veterans' Day. It's also my son's and mom's birthday. Neither one has ever had to work or go to school on their birthday. Spoiled they are!

Yep, the kids had school today. I don't think our school system has ever had Veteran's Day off. Maybe the school board has never had a member that actually served in the military so they don't recognize the importance of honoring our veterans. Whatever the case, I have my American Flag flying high on my front porch today (I took down the Disney "Happy Thanksgiving" flag for the day. And I am re-organizing my SEVEN years of pictures that ONE of these days I'll get around to scrapbooking. It's so nice to be home all by myself to do such a tedious project!!!

It's been chilly here the last few days. But that will just make us appreciate the warmth in California in three weeks!
